  • The HGLRC Batman220 is the first frame from HGLRC that I've seen. Usually HGLRC makes flightboards and ESCs. For one one of their first frames, HGLRC made a pretty good frame. It is a little heavy for an "ultra light" but the rigidity of the frame and the chamferred edges make it really stand out.

This is my favorite frame! I've built 4 so far! Chamferred edges and 3 screw mounts works great RU kidding? I crash sometimes and have yet to damage anything worse than a delaminated tip. Its heavy, so I put big motors at first. Now I have built one with smallish 2206 DYS Samguk 2700KV and it might be the fastest one yet. They all go over 100mph! I've yet to complete my latest build (2306 6S) and it has HGLRC Flame 1775KV it is likely the fastest! I tossed the strap since it is cheaply made and went with a leather one. I have 60 degree FPV uptilt and it is completely waterproof. I crashed today because I'm adjusting to 60 degree uptilt and didn't break a thing! I hope you review the mefisto frame. I have yet to try that one!

    That's a pretty beautiful frame, dude! 😊
I agree with you about the design flaws, but something I've been learning is that, unfortunately, there's no perfect frame. 😕

I agree. Everyone eventually finds one they like. Sometimes it is because, "I like these features" and sometimes it is not for logical reasons like, "it just flies well for me". A lot of people will choose frames that make them feel like they're part of a special club.

@@travisgrindal Absolutely! For example, for my first 5" I choose a racing frame that I thought was beautiful. And it really is! I could fly it yet because I screwed up the VTX connector, but I'm already choosing a new one, a freestyle this time. 😊
And... For me what matters is: does all of the components I'm going to use fit in it? And... Is it beautiful enough? If so, all good. And as cheaper, as better. 😃
