I am perplexed why you dont have 100s of thousands of subscribers. Your work and tutorialls are amazing!
Haha, thank you :D
I've been on youtube forever and this is the first time i'm leaving a comment. Your video is absolutely amazing and inspiring. I've been a commercial photographer for almost 20 years and at one point I felt i kinda hit a wall and getting less and less excited for each shoot. I'm sure you understand that feeling as a photographer. I've watched all you video and I felt that I need to pick up the camera again and try a bunch of new recipes. You made me jump around like that kid when i just started learning photography in collage. I'm absolutely grateful to your generosity of showing these so called secret sauce of the industry. Please do make more video and perhaps to touch a bit on your post production workflow. Love your taste of colour editing! Stay well and keep in touch. Lots of love from shanghai china!!!
Wow, thank you so much for such a kind video, it has absolutely made my day. I hope you'll find joy in photography again :)
Thank you so much for this video and your channel! ❤
So helpful! Thanks 🙏🏾
Great tips as usual! Thanks girly!! 🙂
your videos are wonderful! thank you for making & sharing your wisdom & style 🙏🏼🙏🏼 i hope you can continue to make more instructional BTS content as i just found you and can already see i will get through your vids over the next week 😅 i realize making vids, editing & posting can be quite a process and difficult for a real working photographer.
But again, thanks much for the vids you do have up / posted!!!
🤩🤩🤩 ah some sunny content during winter !
haha, exactly :D
This is the absolute best video. I love the way you explain things, so easy to learn from - thank you!!
Thank you so much for such positive feedback!
you are really the best! amazing work and clear explanation ❤❤
Yay, glad you enjoyed, thanks for watching 😊
Thanks Karolina for another awesome video!
thanks for watching 🙏
You are a great shooter great work.
So good
To record this video which lights and angles you have used? Your video lightning is perfect for what I wanted to shoot. But I never get this kind of clarity , softness and brightness at the same time. Do I need to buy lights to get this kind of softness and brightness?
Karolina I've been loving the videos! Question: How big is your scrim?
6x6
Hi Karolona. Those pictures are so so beautiful. I'm new to studio lighting and I wonder.. I've never thought of using a standard reflector like u mentioned because it looks like it would produce hard light. My instinct would be to use a soft box or umbrella to create ' soft natural lighting'. But your pictures look soooo fresh and crisp. What's the technical reason/explanation for using a standard lamp reflector? I really wonder!
Because when trying to produce ‘sunlight’ you want a small and ‘hard’ light source. If you used a soft light source it will look like sun diffuser through clouds. But in this video I wanted to show how to create hard sunlight
Love your videos! What backdrop are you using!
I use different kinds, but most are from savage. Just pick colours your like!
@@KarolinaPran Will have a look! I love the pale yellow tone you have I bought one similar but it is TOO yellow. Do you remember which colour it was? Or maybe I will be able to find it! Thank you so much for your reply. So glad I found your channel! Incredible work!!
I love your video and This video helps me!! Thank you
4:24 you use back light? reflect on the v-flats?
There were two strobes inside the v flats, on the white side, bouncing and lighting up the backdrop
@@KarolinaPran thank you!! I'm student majoring in photography in korea and your channel very helpful!! Photos are very beautiful too!! You're my mentor sometimes useful even more professor! Have a nice day! Thank you!!
Aww that’s so sweet of you to say. I am so glad it’s helpful. I hope you’ll have a great photography career after your studies :)
Hi Karolina, thanks for mentioning the broncolor options, you mentioned 3, PL70, PL65 and PL40's . Which would would you recommend to buy first ? I dont own any of them and I want to buy the right one for this look.
Thank you in advance!
I personally most used P70s just cause had access to them, so don't over think it too much, get whatever is most affordable and start testing! Any of them will work
@@KarolinaPran Thank you for your reply! Ok I will keep it in mind. :)
for the first setup, what were your camera settings like? Also what lens did you use?
What's the time code of the photo you are asking about?
@@KarolinaPran the setup at 2:23
@@verycool97 With this set up I shot with Canon 100 mm 2.8mm. And my settings were ISO 100, F11, 1/160
the sennheiser audio was better
Thanks for your feedback. I'll still be using the Sennheiser in my next video, but my stand broke for this, so I tested Blue instead
