Today marks the end of March which also represents the Ghana month and I thought it would be lovely to show you the rich Ghanaian culture.
My mum teaches me how to wear the costume of a Queen Mother. I hope you enjoy the beauty of our rich culture.
I had so much fun doing this. It was a family affair.
I want to say a big thank you to my mum for giving me this idea. Show her some love by liking and sharing. Let this video be my most watched video.
My appreciation also goes to my cousin William for organizing this and to my uncle Mr. Fred Onomah.

@@TrueVonne after eight years as a Nana Ohemaa...and seamstresses not knowing so cutting it 3:2:1 (wahala!) and my Twi still being not so great, I now know it is 3yd top, 2yd under...plus if the dresser isn't happy with your hips...a further waist cloth (any material under with scarves both sides). But this week I need to dress myself in London so finally got to the bottom of it - and skipping layer three (ha ha, hope Auntie Sarah doesn't guess)! Beads are the easy bit - oh my...The full piece for women is 6yd, men 12 yd (toga-style)
How fabric did you use for the Ntoma
Hi, Vonne! I'm from the US. When I was a kid, I met a Queen Mother from Ghana. I can't remember her full name, as this was awhile ago, but she went by Nana Gifty. Would you happen to know who this is? I really appreciate it, thanks! You look stunning!
