Sometimes, Dave tells people “I’ll walk with ya.” I feel like he’s walking with me. I’m in the parking lot right now waiting to go into my second job. I work 40 hours a week at my full time job, and I work 30 hours a week at my part time job. I’m living like no one else so that later, I can live and give like no one else. I’m tired, but I will not give up!

Money doesn't buy happiness. Money buys freedom, and with freedom, comes happiness.

I heard someone say money is like air. You really think about it when you don’t have any. When you have lots people don’t run around saying look how much air I have, and most wealthy people don’t run around saying that about their money. But when you don’t have money or can’t breathe, that lack is almost all you can think about

“No discipline seems pleasant at the time but it yields a harvest of righteousness”. What a beautiful proverb.

What I noticed changed about my life once I became quite financially wealthy was that the stress went out of my life; I felt calm and at peace. Didn't have to worry if I lost my job or a medical emergency came up suddenly. Any expense that came along was just a minor inconvenience rather than a problem that causes panic or sleepless nights. Plus of course there's no money fights with your spouse which cuts out that source of stress.

Money gives you options. Options are choices that weren’t forced. Relaxed choices are often the better made decisions. Your entire outlook on life changes when you give yourself options.

I saw someone pay for an old lady's food in the supermarket yesterday. It was Christmas eve. Seeing how happy she was. Hats off to that guy

Dave, we were able to help someone get gas at the pump when they were on empty, they started to cry and I had to leave. We've got those exact numbers in our accounts. Thank you for your advice to put us in this position.

Friends of mine recently lost a child. She was born still born. We are all Canadian so there was no major medical expenses. But the baby coffin, the little things those were things they did worry about. On top of their grief. They are in crazy debt. I was just thinking about giving them Dave’s book.

When I graduated from college(Associates at a community college) and dove into a career. Everything changed for me. I did not have to worry about putting fifteen dollars in my gas tank, but fill it up completely, every time. I did not have to worry about spending only fifty dollars at the grocery store, but could buy things that I wanted and not stress about it. Money does provide options. Money can also provide a work ethic and can affect your life decisions.
