Personally I don't think the phones are up yet to the level of quality I'd want to rely on them for my HD audio listening. It's very convenient, at least. You still have to plug some
gizmo or amp into it, because the phones aren't equipped with a really good amp or anything of the kind yet. I just ordered one of these because I have a huge music collection
of my own, and I keep adding to it, and i want all that stuff in HD .wav whatever format, on my player, ready to go. I also hate suffering commercials all day long when

    • @PrimeAudioReviews

I think it is a viable replacement for the 5k. It's bigger than the M0 but the larger screen makes it easier to navigate. If you're into EQ and tweaking the AP80 Pro X has got MSEB which is really substantial. If you don't need MSEB and want something small, the M0 Pro is also great.

I had hoped that it would shuffle throughout the complete library. Am working with four folders of slightly less than 20000 in each. Am using the play through folders setting and shuffle mode. The folders are accessible on the micro sd card but I am not so sure that it will access the other three folders. The ability to shuffle throughout all folders would have been a plus for me. I got one of these. It crashes if your first press off the play button happens with bluetooth connected. If you look up albums by artist, the album contents are sorted alphabetically. There's also no UI changes for long tracks such as audiobooks or podcasts, so seeking becomes a nightmare. God forbid you mishear a sentence when you're out and about. I did some digging, and I genuinely think the "Book" option is because somebody asked about audiobooks on a forum, and a social media rep who posted there didn't know that you could get books read out to you in a digital format.
Poweramp is 10 times cheaper, it has much better database handling, and is better at long files. Get that and a dongle dac, and you're better served.

      Music is the top priority.
I was going for DACs, but People are saying android limits the output quality...
So, could you please tell, what would be the difference between a DAP & a DAC with android(samsung s10+)...

I believe it's iPhone that has limits with dongle dacs. With DAPs you need to copy music to an sd card or stream Bluetooth from your phone. I personally prefer DAPs - hate having a dongle hanging off my phone.

Turn your autofocus off my man, it was a tough watch with the constant focus searching. Might want to re-adjust your lighting too, to avoid that nasty glare. I don't mean to criticize but all of that kept taking me out of the video. Thanks for the review, it was helpful albeit a bit frustrating

Wouldn't it be awesome if a company put a headphone jack and a dedicated DAC....oh yeh LG did it, and Sony does it now! I WISH phone companies realised that phones are glorified walkmans and added functionality back! Oh Well at least these types of systems will sell! Looks like I'm heading back to carrying multiple devices like I did before Smart Phones!

Seemed fine for me, although I always had it in my pocket or on the desktop.
