      You have the oldest squad in the league name a couple of players that start for you from 20 to 24 years old and remember you need to comply with ffp so you have to earn as much as you spend your not doing that right now

    • @matty8612
      @matty8612 Před 9 lety

      Mohammed Eltayeb Some players peak in their later years and defenders/goalkeepers can play til their later years (Hart, Kompany etc). Not to mention they just spent like 35m on Mangala who I think is like 24. Players like Silva aren't the speediest to begin with, I can see Silva go on to play into his later years just as Xavi did and Iniesta will. Bony and Aguero will certainly be in their prime years (about 28-29). Fernando can occupy that defensive mid role. I'm sure City will do just fine, its just a case of who will replace Yaya. Though FFP will restrict them, they can still spend plenty. We will likely see more City players come through their youth system also with this new complex they've built.

    • @shelovinthecrew
      @shelovinthecrew Před 9 lety

      Don't see youth coming through bony and aguero have just hit their prime and strikers don't last very long Fernando is average really

    Guardiola would fail in the BPL. Possession football will be exploited and too many technical players doesn't suit the BPL, just ask Arsenal, a club with no physical presence, no backbone, no leaders, slow build up, invisible against big teams but atleast they have technical players.

    • @alexgeorge1028
      @alexgeorge1028 Před 9 lety +3

      We did manage to beat Manchester City at the Etihad, whether they ere playing well or not I don't know but it's still a in. We do have some physical presence in Mertesacker and Giroud (although Mertascker's terrible, and Giroud isn't really a defensive player). I somewhat agree with the rest though.

    • @JubalBed
      @JubalBed Před 9 lety +3

      The Wolf B Muniz United's football is too simple and the club and fans are quite arrogant. Guardiola would have to change to whole mindset of the club. He should go to a club that is a bit more humble and that plays creative passing football. Even Gary Neville said it himself, Arsenal play the best football in the BPL.

    • @krs-yeezus5370
      @krs-yeezus5370 Před 9 lety

    @Grnvolpe Před 9 lety +4

    Falcao could have gone to a good club after Atletico Madrid, but he didn't want to take a pay cut so he wasted a year in Monaco to win nothing, get injured, miss the World Cup, and become a miss-fireing striker. And if he ends up at a club below Atletico, I won't feel bad for him. And I'm Colombian

    • @Grnvolpe
      @Grnvolpe Před 9 lety

      ***** How about you look it up before you start assuming and look silly? Monaco`s owner is a billionaire. And since his Porto day Falcao has been owned by a third party so Porto only owned part of him. That private firm helped Porto pay Falcao's wages. That's how Porto gets so many prospects. (You can look that up too). The problem with Falcao is that he's ridiculously expensive bc a a top club like Madrid, Chelsea, Barca, Man U, would have to pay the 3rd party's shares to completely own the player. Pretty much only really wealthy clubs could do this
      Only clubs like Monaco, Madrid, PSG, and Chelsea could do this. I'm sure some tried, but its ultimately up to Falcao to play where he wants and I bet he sold himself to the highest bidder

    • @Grnvolpe
      @Grnvolpe Před 9 lety

      ***** No Porto are not a rich club. They're in huge debt. Oh my God, just Google it man, you're amazing me right now. And I don't blame that injury on his decision. I'm just saying since he chose money above everything else, I don't feel bad for him because he still gets paid despite being injured

    I'm a city fan and I admit that we were slightly lucky when winning the league last year because Chelsea dropped points against bottom table teams and liverpool were plagued with a spot of poor form which started with "the slip". We are knocked out of the English cups this season which remains with the Champion's League and BPL to win, probably the two hardest competitions in football.
    With the money that City have, we can afford top players and a top manager, we are one of the richest clubs in the world. So finishing the season with no silverware is a disgrace to this big club, taking into consideration the funds that we have. We should be looking to acheive the treble next season under a new manager and world record signings.

    pep won't go to city imo. Can't see him going there. I think he'll stay at bayern for one more season. He will surely come to england one day. I think he'll most likely go to Man United, or maybe there's a slight chance at arsenal if wenger leaves

      +Football Daily disrespectful? yes absolutely, Pellegrini has already has the players confidence and trust. He has a winning squd so the change is a head scractcher to me. Pellegrini is pure class, Pep on the other hand.....well

    • @lujoja8226
      @lujoja8226 Před 8 lety

      *+Kyle Jinright* Pellegrini is a nice guy but we are under-performing with the squad we have. We were awful last season and somehow managed to scrape 2nd; and until this very recent run of form this season, we hadn't won back-to-back games this season since October and are in a battle just to finish in the top 4. We've been shite this season. Sure, we're in a CL semi final but realistically I don't think we're going to win it or anything. I know it sounds like I am bashing him, but I'm not. Its just that Pep is a clear upgrade on Pellegrini and there is just cause to bring in someone new after what will now be 2 disappointing domestic seasons. I love Pellegrini for what he has achieved with the club and for the way he conducts himself but its just time for a change now; he has been here for 3 years. He's managed to improve us in Europe but we lack consistency. Pep is being brought in to take us to that next level.
      Pellegrini isn't getting sacked or anything; he is just seeing out his original contract which expires in the summer. Pellegrini knew all about this for ages. It was also Pellegrini's decision to make it public to end speculation. I wouldn't say it is disrespectful. The club were up front with him and didn't do anything behind his back, he was always informed as he has said himself. It isn't like City did what Real Madrid did to him and just sack him over the phone out of the blue. This is a lot different to what happened with Mancini - that left a bad taste - but this is a bit more dignified.

    So Pellegrini is bad according to Man City because.... he will probably finish 2nd in the league. I see. Well uh... That's just freaking stupid. Just because of one not so fantastic season that would be probably the most illogical and stupid move, I have ever seen. Just look at Tottenham, changing they manager every year and ending up below 4th place every year...
