- Another honest review, which i know some of you people have been waiting for.
This review is with a slight difference as I will be live streaming a chat with The colonialist were we will be discussing our feedback on this nest. AND THEN if you believe it, a first for any ant product review, we have the retailer and manufacture of the nest Wakooshi himself discussing our reviews and feed back to you guys!
Please take the time to visit the wakooshi website www.wakooshi.com.
if you use the promotion code ANTSHOOD on check out you will get a 10% discount! (wakooshi sorted this out for me after I made this video)
here is the link for the live podcast!

Good review, honesty is always important. I personally also think that it's a little to big for a founding colony but I can see a 50w Lasius colony really thrive in this nest. For people that are more interested in bigger nests and just want to boost their colonies this is a great nest to have. I think for people that sell ants it's definitely a must!
Great honest review again... 100% never stop being honest
Hi mate great video... after using this nest for awhile with a fairly large pheidole indica colony I've got to say I agree with the problems you raised and tbh I'll probably attach another outworld to the Venus nest to make it easier to feed the ants 👍
Finally an honest reviewer, I think it's great that you are doing this, it's surprising how few genuinely transparent people there are who review products and I hope you do more of these in future.
I’m well known for my reviews. Be that good or bad
Great honest review as always and hope everyone sees that you put positives as well as negatives as they often miss that. 😉👍🏻😃🐜🇬🇧
I'm a big fan of Wakooshi products and I think it's great that you reviewed this honestly. I'm sure that the sellers will also appreciate it so that they can continue making improvements in their products. Keep it up looking forward to the next one!
I like TarHeel’s Growth Chamber Nests, and JkAntsNests Growth Chamber Nests. They have steel mesh ponds for the queen and pupae ☝️ Those vertical nests are really awesome 👌 Remember though, Growth Chamber’s are for
Humidity. The steel mesh ponds are only for humidity and not hydration 😤
This is what we need! Honest reviews. Keep it up mate👍🏽
Great review ! The ant from wakooshi can come in many sizes depending on species and colony size .
Good video!I agree with all your points
Pointing out issues would allow them to improve the product so honest reviews are also in their own best interest. It’s not a massive market and people talk so better have good products :) I don’t like this product (I own other Wakooshi nests which are pretty good!). Too fiddly. For starting colonies I just use tubs and tubes or rubber test tube connectors (1 euro) and a small outworld. Works perfectly and very cheap 😀 Thanks for the review mate!
thanks for watching
Great review! Keep up the good work and the honesty! :)
Really informative, honest review!
Great review!
I like your honest reviews 👍
Where did you get those green batteries 😂😂 good review mate👍

Where would you of put the heat cable notch?
Hood already updated it t move it closer to the entrance
Would making a cut yourself to put the heat cable where you suggested be a possibility?
no need now. wakooshi listen to my points from this video and moved the notches to the heat cable.
Make an update for carebara pls
they died mate. if you watch my new year new dreams video i explain how they died there
But I have every hope of getting some more this year
I'm sorry about that, and your videos on the carebara had helped me since I'll be getting my own colony next week. I will pray for your success if you ever get a new colony! :)
Am I do but please make sure that they have no mites. I didn’t even notice they had them until they had already died and I was editing a video about how they died off
@@antshood3324 Thanks for the advice! I'll also put my substrate in the oven just in case.
