as an engineer I am blown away how they can reweld the front axle and get it aligned with only a long straight edge.. there are multiple angles involved to get the spindle just right for front end alignment... amazing
Pls take a look at 22:53 and 23:05, I am not sure that caster/camber are correct.
I'm thinking quite a few people who would watch this have done some wrenching. You got balls coming on here and telling us you are an engineer 😂
right so the whole front end vibrates going down the road and you cant keep tires on the front end but he got it perfectly alligned
Maybe, just maybe, it really is only a temporary fix while they are waiting to get a new axle. Although I have my doubts.
It always amazes me to see these guys working in the dirt with minimal PPE, yet they manage to look as if they have just returned from the barbers. Hats off!!!!

Welcome to our world Amazing skill discover. And Thank you for your response.Always stay connected with us and encourage us.
These guys are hard-working people, everyone gets involved, no standing around. It's very impressive.

Crazy how they don't pull it off the road backwards, than risk there lives doing the job in the middle of what looks like a very busy junction.Pull it backwards 100 yards and safety is much better.Amazing work with what they have.

You could see that the axle was cracked for a long time and then it broke all the way through. The weld should have been reinforced with extra plating all around,
Damn u right....
It doesn't make any sense. In any case, the repair site will be cut off sooner or later. The beam should be forged, and they welded the metal off. It's basically a ticking time bomb. I feel sorry for these people.
yeah man, I thought the same..but then I realized they are working on the street under a loaded truck with out any safety measurement at all, just flip flops...guys are really tough..
Bad Work
They don’t do pre trip and post trip inspections at all. This could’ve gone horribly wrong, luckily nothing bad happened.

No power tools but they troubleshoot the defect, simply amazing
Thank you
No power tools, just a wrench, hammer, and piece of gum. In flip flops! Mad respect.
Thank you for your tip's
Tremenda de uma gambiarra perigosa.
I would be replacing that beam a.s.a.p.

Yeah, the driver himself! Some others would use the windscreen washer system as available.

These guys can weld anything from broken axle to the crack of dawn ! Amazing
😂 thanks for pictures. Very interesting to see your country regular life, good people
Thank you
They should have replaced the rod. Welding will not last. It is weak already
It might hold till the next time they overload it.
Great men doing a great job
Yes, thanks
Thank you 🇧🇷🇵🇰
Videographer is a great person
The delivery was still delivered on time, great job guys..
This weld won’t hold for long considering how much load they put on these trucks. I thought for a minute they were going to replace that part.
Replace with another broken/ repaired axel.
This is Pakistan OK, 3rd world. Some in the Americas
I'm amazed that they work around as heavy equipment and welders with no shoes or no gloves at all
I admire the skills and level of expertise. Never will ai be able to be like these guys. Humans are special!!!
Thank you brother for your appreciation 💫🥂
When Japanese introduced the 2 cylinder Suzuki pickup, it was well overloaded where even the wheels would buckle. Japanese, rather than telling them off, the visiting team returned to Japan and upgraded the vehicle to carry the extra load. They changed the engine to 3 cylinder 800cc. They say, customer is always right.
Thank you Brother for sharing this knowledge with us.Stay connected with us💫🥂
BY LUCK THAT
king pin came out easy,
otherwise you will have to press it out
but very well done
good job
They could at least clean the bearing and add some grease.... so much effort and low quality
0:20. It is obvious this axel has been cracked for some time and a routine inspection of the undercarriage could have likely spotted pending trouble before a complete failure occurred. Look at the rusted area vs. the shiny area. That metal was already half broken for a long time.
Why not stop overloading,it's not worth it.all the profit is going to the mechanics
Patans.. fearless n hardworking 💪💪
Unfortunately the beam will break again. They are massively overloading it, which is why it broke in the first place. Now it is also brittle in that area.
But they got it mobile again.
Thank you for your response 💫 We need to address overloading issues to prevent further damage.
Fast and cheap, but HORRIBLE weld)
There is nothing wrong with that weld. Perfect. Drive on.
@@grasub1 You have no clue. It is very difficult to weld cast iron. Even more so without any preheat, which did not happen here. Lucky if it held a day.
@@324atleDforged steel most likely, I think making that out of cast iron would be a terrible idea because of the brittleness

Great job gentlemen. Very impressed with your work.
I have done suspension work on trucks and trailers and am impressed when I see bush mechanics like these do their craft with minimal equipment!!!
However these trucks are equipment are flogged in Australia we would replace the axle and steering components and king pins and bearings and do a professional wheel wheel alignment,,,,but hats off to these guys 👍
Dios bendiga a estos hombres. Trabajo rudo y minucioso. Saludos
Thank you for your amazing reply .It means a lot to us
The weld is still better than crazy glue. 😂😅😂
" let's overload that super strong grade 8 bolt till it snaps then replace it with a new grade 0 bolt."
Basically
Great skills.
Really amazing what hard work and teamwork can achieve with the minimal resources.
Others can learn instead of complaining all the time.
BUT personally, I would have braced with plating around welded area
Gambiarra que por hora deu certo.

These guys are amazing,i,d never fear any mechanical breakdown if they were part of my team.
Thank you for appreciation 🤗
Its not axle that is broken, its the I-beam, replace the I-beam is the solution as weld repair creates stress in the welded joints and likely breaks again, thats my experience as an autpmotive welder
Great team work!!😊😊😊
If you can't give them credit for what they achieved don't say anything. I'd like to see this done at the side of the road in the uk. No chance. Well done guys. Honest graft for honest pay.
That is such a ridiculous thing to say. I'm not a safety nazi by any stretch of the imagination but what they are doing terrifies me. Full credit where credit is due. In a country where life is completely meaningless and safety is just as frowned upon as eating a bacon cheeseburger, what they are able to accomplish with what they have to work with is nothing short of amazing. But in a developed country this is criminally insane. I cant speak for the UK as I am a yank but there is a reason you will never see not only this type of repair but also this repair done in this type of location in the US. Even overlooking the legal aspect, there is not a true mechanic I know that would ever risk putting this type of repair on the road much less repairing it in the middle of a road that the traffic direction seems to be gender fluid. What a lot of people don't realize is that not only does the mechanic have to worry that the front beam (that usually has the words "Do not heat or weld" casted right into it) might break where the weld crystallized and got brittle then hurt/killed the driver, but also sent the truck into the oncoming suv that his wife just picked up his kids in and hurt/killed them as well. Look, I am a huge fan of "make it work with what you've got" and I fully admire how everybody has a job to do and they do it without any of the drama that seems to be a requirement here. However they should at least pretend that welding a front beam without any pre or post heat and putting it on a truck that is overloaded by an order of magnitude, is probably not a wise thing to try if you can avoid it. I am not against people pointing out the fact that if you tried this in "blank country" you would be prosecuted and also if it prevents only one farm boy from doing this to his grain truck and putting it in "Send It" mode then I'm not worried about the Pakistanis failing to get a pat on the back. Yes they are hard workers. Yes they made it work with practically nothing. Yes they are brave/insane for "fixing" it in the middle of that road. NO you should NEVER try this at home. Sorry the post is so long
@@me3333how can you say their lives are meaningless, that attitude is more disturbing than their limited regard for safe working practices, they got it done & nobody was hurt. In a world of snowflakes you’re a snowman!
