This was a great easy to put together kit with nice decals and parts all fit amazing just a little delicate a few suspension is but overall very easy level 3 kit with detail and can be done in a weekend Friday night through Sunday night a goododeler could build this box stock quickly and have a nice clean box stock build
It is nice to see you use wires, but you know you just cant stop there, theres fuel lines ,brake lines and other wires you can use to make your kits pop!!You do a great job, thank you for making these videos
Tom,
Thanks for making these videos! You've re-ignited my interest in the hobby. Can't wait for future videos!
Very nice build so far Sir ,Merry Christmas
That is one great looking chassis. Man, I kept seeing the preview pic in my feed and didn't have time to watch it. Finally I did. Speaking of which, you have over 10K subs so you now have the ability to share pictures. Do you plan to do anything with that?
I share the pictures on thescalemodelingchannel facebook page ;)
Love the build so far! American Muscle 💪
Love the videos. I enjoy watching your work. I would like to see some closeups as you complete items or demonstrate something that your doing. For example in this video I would like to see some closeups of the engine and how it looks with the distributor wires that you installed.
I post photo’s of the finished items on the scalemodelingchannel facebook page ;)
Ahh, thank you. I will look there
Merry Christmas!
I love your work Tom , great engine work
Looks like a nice kit
nice detail technique using the toothpick.
You should do a car with only paint brushes except for the body.
Like a challenge mode
Kyle Martin that’s what I do for all my cars
Awesome engine work man, Love the wiring!
very cool looking
Great job as always😊
Great Job
Excellent work as usual Tom. That engine looks fantastic.
Whow what a nice built. I am looking forward on this one as well.
Just starting with modelling first some tries on other boxes.
Quick question...you used super glue in this video.
Why and when do you use super glue instead of eg the Tamiya cement?
ive been watching your videos for a while now and would be curious to see your take on a promod style drag car model kit
Merry belated Christmas. 👍🏻🙂👍🏻
What is the basic color that you painted your chassis? It really goes well with the gloss black parts. Thx, Mac
I really like the color of your chassis, but I can't find any reference about the kind or color that you used. Thx, Mac
I’ve noticed you use a couple different types of BSI glues, just wondering why and when you use that specific glue
Love your work...what brand airbrush do you use and what's the price on it?
Thank you for sharing the building, it's really useful for beginners like me. Do you put a clear coat to protect the decals in the engine parts, or you just put them in place without doing anything afterwards?
I just put them on, no clear most of the time
Good to know, thank you!
Very nice 👍🏻👍🏻👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
With regards to the engine, did you do any test fitting or was it really that easy to assemble it? I've never had a kit were the engine assembled that easy without any test fitting.
It was realy that easy.
when you said hazing is that the white film that is sometimes left when using the other types of CA glues?
matched player yes
What grit sand paper do use to scuff them up with before the primer?
600
Hey i got a tamiya ts020 with all the etched kits, you'd need a new sticker kit tho, interested?
Not really my thing, thank you for the extremely nice gesture though!
I seem to have the worst luck with zero paints black. Always comes out looking dusty and gritty. Tried thinning it a little and lowering the air pressure, but still have this problem. Spraying at 25-30 psi. Any helpful tips?
caudleryan123 could be the environment you're working in. If it's very hot it will start to dry as soon as it hits the part you're painting.
Scotty 79 it's just the black I am having trouble with. All of the other colors spray perfectly. I made sure to shake them extremely well, so don't know what could be going on with this particular color. It's the matt black, semi gloss, and gloss black.🤔
I spray at 14PSI, maybe try them a bit thicker than others.
