Lightsaber was actually exo’s collab with star wars dndnd the reason why they contacted exo to do this was bc of the el dorado performance...and then it happened in 2015
Fun fact about Lightsaber: it’s a collab between exo and Disney because some Disney people saw their performance of el dorado and wanted exo to help with the promotion of SW: The Force Awakens in Korea. They used Lightsaber in the Korean trailers for the movie and some members attended the premiere of the movie... John Boyega gave a shout-out to them on twitter too!
Fun fact about exo and water at their concerts: they’ve used water for a few performances in the 2nd and 3rd tours, namely Baby Don’t Cry from exo’luxion, White Noise, Lightsaber, and One and Only from exo’rdium.

PS: 1. Kai injured himself several times during performances that included dancing in water back in 2016 :( he couldn't participate in the promotions for lotto because of it.
2. This is a remixed version of transformer. While it is more interesting to perform this way...music and production wise I prefer the original version.

Yess there’s a mv for overdose and it’s one of my fav exo mvs eveer...also it’s the last song with all 12 members 🙁 2014 was a really tough year..u would notice many exols tend not to talk alot about overdose era or barely mention it 😟 it was really one hell of a year for them omg
They actually got rid of the water stages because of small injuries and preventing future injuries, still it must've been really amazing to see in person and they have some balls to pull it off. Transformer really grew on me, I didn't love it at first but I found myself going back to it a lot haha. Overdose does have an MV! It's actually the last ot12 comeback, Kris left during the promotions.
Since it's Christmas season, maybe you can react to their Christmas album Universe, it came out last winter and it's just PERFECTION ♥️ !

Just a quick disclaimer, Lightsaber and Transformer are modified for the concert, I personally love Transformer original version. And plus, Transformer is from one of EXO's best albums, 'EXODUS' so... Yeah, you might like it as well if you listen to the original version? The whole album tho, you need to listen to it when you have some time, you won't regret it. But, I recommend you listen to 'The Power of Music' first, and maybe 'Lotto' albums first, before going to EXODUS because those two are also iconic albums at this point (btw, they are repackaged versions with more songs so, yup).
I won't request particular songs because I know you will get to them eventually. If you think the choreography is good in exo'rdium, it's even better on elyxion (exo planet 4) in Seoul. When they move as a group, it's 2x better than previously. The full concert is available on CZcams. 💜

The Overdose video is epic. The dancing and all 12 members. Plus 2 versions in Korean and Chinese featuring both EXO-K and EXO-M. Personally, I prefer the Transformer and Monster live at 2016 MAMA. The dancing was so much better and they danced on a long platform in the air! ( search [2016 MAMA] EXO - TRANSFORMER + MONSTER})
But in the Overdose video you can see the choreography a lot better. Oh and look up the EXO Star Wars video. AMAZING but short.

I thought I wasn’t that keen on Transformer when I first heard/saw it on a live show vid, but I learned that this version doesn’t do this bop justice. Go and listen to the original, recorded version of the song (preferably in headphones with the bass turned up) and I truly think it’ll find itself on your playlist! 🔥

Both lightsaber and transformer were remixed in this performance for the concert so if you listened to the original versions in the albums it'll be a new experience for you.
However overdose wasn't, it's the same except for the fact that the lines that were sung by the 3 past members are now sung by other exo members(for obvious reasons). And yes Overdose does have a music video😊💖

What is interesting and cool and I didn't saw that to other groups not only from kpop but in general, for live performances which include old songs when there were all 12 members, D.O and Lay sing Luhan's part which is awsome, Overdose in as example, you''ll see Luhan's part and you can compare with live performance and you'll notice that first Lay sing Luhan's part than D.O. That's why I love EXO so much, they're transformers!!!

It took me a long time to get in to Transformer. To me it's so different from most of their stuff. It was actually one of the live versions that finally got me in to it. One thing they have done in the past that I really like is that during tours and big shows they'll often try out new arrangements if a song wasn't received well, or had specific issues brought up by fans. The practice got a lot of people who didn't like the original versions of songs (or specific parts) like Wolf, Power, and Transformer, to get a version that they do like. This can happen more than once too, so something like Transformer has at least 3 different live versions that sound pretty different. It also works with trends, as you'll hear more dubstep additions in the EXO'luXion and EXO'rDIUM song arrangements.

Overdose was a superior title track (but tbh which title track isn't😂), it was kind of a test to see if EXO was just a one-hit wonder after Growl in 2013, but they came back with Overdose, an even more powerful track that won them Album of the Year and Artist of the Year in 2014!
