    Crazy that google did that to you! I’ve never seen anything remotely questionable on your channel, but the tech oligarchs have done lots of questionable things and don’t think they owe anyone an explanation. Thank you for putting out videos as often as you do. I love your work!

    It’s so nice to see you! I planted my winter squash today. Through cardboard, preparing another strip of my food forest for next year. Just like you taught us :)
    I hope Google sorts that out for you. Your channel is pure joy and you have taught me more than you can imagine throughout the years.
    Congrats on the upcoming book. Enjoy the garden xxx

I love going back to your older videos in the archive btw, I sometimes feel that I have to be at a certain point of my food forest journey to actually take in certain information within that wealth of knowledge you've shared over the years. It's so so helpful and should be financially rewarded. Did you ever think about a Patreon scheme? I'd be the first to join and am sure loads of people would be happy to support your work.

    That's terrible about CZcams. Is there any way you can make a community membership? Maybe that way your diehard fans could support the channel. Or is there a way that we can complain on your behalf? I love your videos. Especially the cooking ones. I'd love to see weeklong cooking videos for each season, like you did in the winter. We're vegetarians too.

    A lot of people are complaining that, all the new apple varieties like Topaz, get diseases after some years. I like more the old European varieties

    • @GrownToCook
      @GrownToCook  Před 2 lety

      We are growing both modern and heirloom varieties (like Glorie van Holland en Glockenapfel). There is indeed a problem with the adaptability of scab - it evolves so varieties do not remain resistant forever.

    What zone are you in? I believe it's important to let the viewers know so than can determine if those plants can grow in their area.

    • @GrownToCook
      @GrownToCook  Před 2 lety +1

      A good question but the answer is a little complicated since USDA zones do not correspond very well to European climate. We are comparatively further to the north, so our growing season is shorter and our summers cooler, plus we get less daylight in the wither months. Here's a detailed video I made on the subject if you're interested: czcams.com/video/Z0YdKOBat4M/video.html
