Because he's inconsistent. He will have 1-3 good games in a row then disappear for the next few games.
Early this season he had a 32 & 6 1 game then 6 total points over the next 2 games. Then in January he had a 40 ball then only 16 in the next game.
He's always done that. The talent is there, but Charlotte got tired of waiting for him to put it together.

Wade also barely finished his first year, he was no where near all NBA first team guards until shaq got there. When he went to PHX, Cleveland and Boston he was already out of his prime and you could say chased a ring simply to tie Kobe.

Honestly both SGA and Luka should be 1 and 2 for MVP. Luka to me had the best eye-popping stats, and would've been my favorite had his team make at least top 4. SGA and Jokic were close, with SGA's team winning the tie break due to their head to head. I don't know why you guys are so up in arms over Jokic. He's good, but you guys completely overblow his production.

@@rickysampson8759 Playoffs are no different than the regular season in that each game will need an investment of almost 2-3 hours. Not sure how many complete games their work would “require” them to watch. Full quarter highlights are probably their go to, and that’s fine until the final couple of rounds.

SGA was my favorite for MVP, but Luka certainly is the better player and had the better stats. Only reason he doesn't get it for me is because his team finished 5th.

I wouldn't take away validity for mvp seasons, because there is a very good reason anyone gets close to that award.

OKC has had one of the luckiest seasons I've ever seen. Until the last couple of weeks literally no injuries at all which is almost impossible in the NBA. Everyone on the team having a career year at the same time. Again and again running into teams crippled by injuries which has continued into the playoffs. But I think Cinderella's carriage is about to turn into a pumpkin. Midnight coming soon.
