  • “Over Easy” - The Faster Horses
This is probably my favorite song on the set due to its unique perspective and message. I personally am unaware of any other song similar to it in that regard.
Imagine if every single time you came into contact with a stranger. Whether it’s on your daily commute, at a gas station where you held the door for someone, in line at a concert, sitting next to them at a Waffle House, whatever… if you decided to take the time and energy to start the relationship and see where that door might lead.
I joke at shows that anyone in the crowd could be the one that leads us to our record deal, they could also hit Sam with their car next week and we’d be down a bass player, or lead Zip (our fiddler) to the love of his life.. and anything in between.
“How close have you come to what your chasin”
    We just don’t know
The boys and I absolutely love this song, we hope you do too.
This song was written by James Tristan Redding, my favorite wordsmith in Nashville. Thank you for Penning this thinker my friend.

Damn, now I just want to sit in a Waffle House with some cheesy scrambled eggs and just contemplate life.
