Fish and game are too greedy for the tag money. They need to let populations of high mountain game build more more. They depressed Mountain goat populations permanently by over hunting. Animals will stop using landscapes of fear like Wolves showed in Yellowstone.
Lived in Alaska my whole life. Only ever went sheep hunting 1 time, that was enough for me! There is a reason people don't live up there!
The only reason one’s feet would look like that is because of poor quality boots. I highly recommend schnees boots only.

I shot a nice ram in the Yukon in 1982, I,m 91 now and can still remember how good those ribs tasted. Sheep hunting is hard work and if you don, t get yourself in top notch condition, don't even go. In 1979 , I took a ram in Alaska, it was a 25 mile walk into camp and 25 miles

Congrats on a great ram! There are adventures in the outdoors and then there are Alaska Adventures! Nothing compares to a backpack Dall Sheep hunt, nothing!! For 10 days you are in the most remote, rugged, desolate country and add the weather factor to it, holy smokes, it does not get any more adventurous! Thank you for sharing yours! Jason would be proud😎
Congrats! I was the previous hunter in August of 2022...spent 10 days without a legal ram! Amazing experience. Eric is one of the best!

Congratulations on an awesome accomplishment. I hunted the same range last year. You ran into my guide hunting on his own after our hunt on your trip. I know the suffering on these trips, but the reward is worth it.
