Women In Construction

Did you know that in the next six years, Canada's construction industry will need to recruit approximately 300,000 workers? It's true. Retiring baby-boomers and global competition for workers means great career opportunities for women in construction.
Think about it - you would be earning a very nice income while learning a trade as an apprentice electrician, welder, pipe fitter, plumber or any of 30 construction related trades. Or you could work as a heavy equipment operator building roads or hauling rock.
Working in the trades is rewarding but it's not for every man or woman.
