It's not marketed as "water proof", Just water "resistant" The zippers and the seams are not water proof. You need to have water proof zippers and taped seams to be water proof.
The Material is water proof.

Great review! I live in Ireland and it rains a lot in here. I am a biker too and was wondering will my North face Duffel hold the rain and for the most part should do, I may put the things in a plastic bag inside and should be ok. Thanks for casting the video, this way I will not have to do the hose spray myself LOL.

sw motech is not waterproof and too small, for my rocket 3.
i need a duffelbag around 80-100l, for my gear.
