The Cure saved me too, AND still does from the pain. I still have my memories, dancing with friends all night long. Makes me happy AND a little sad too. No regrets. Lived my life just the way i wanted.

I could never choose a favorite band. Way too much great music out there. And we get to listen in so many different ways! This morning it was "Chain of Fools" and "Take You Higher." Right now it's this The Cure playlist. Later, I already have The B-52s and The Clash on vinyl out and ready to play.
Outside of the people in my life, the two things I will never give up are my vinyl collection and my Harley. I've been building my vinyl collection for 54 years, and in that music is the story of my life. Steely Dan on the turntable, the smell of bread baking, my dog sleeping with her head in my lap, my wife curled up in her chair, reading. That's a good day right there. 😃

First heard of the Cure in1984 boys,went to see them and thats it, hooked eva since, brilliant band i" m 54yrs old now and still feel like a teenager with issues when listening to the Cure, and they still sound great live

I saw The Cure at MSG in NYC this past June. One of the best concerts ever. They sounded great, and played for almost 3 hours. Well worth my time and $$

a great band that could never be pigeon-holed into a genre, i love and own most of their albums. cant say that about any other band.
There are some independent label bands that do this it's just that they don't have the level of exposure that mainstream big labels receive.

Cant hear "Friday I'm in love" anymore.... if "The Cure" is played on a radio station (what happens rarely enough) its ALWAYS this song, while they have so many good and better songs.

On a highschooltrip from Copenhagen, Denmark, to the swedish island of Gotland back in ´87, a week around the island on bikes and with tents, we listened to Cure, Smiths and Depeche Mode almost all the way. The Cure reminds me so much of that experience. Talk about good times on a very fascinating island.
