Aaaaand here we go again. Aaron on self-destruction course... I love that he went to Cain and told him. And I love Aaron and Cain united. But... I don't want Aaron to be hurt.
There the final nail has been driven into one of the most successful story lines for a gay couple. I for one watched this soap just to watch Robert and Aaron grew in their relationship as they interacted with each other. Both Robert and Aaron matured as they relied on each other. The build up to their wedding was both powerful and beautiful. I thought there was so much possibility to grow this couple for many years to come. The ending of the story line was done well for what it was. Good bye Robron. I don't know if I am going to follow Emmerdale anymore since my reason for watching has been put to rest. If Aaron is going to be on a downward spiral and self destruct then there is no longer a reason to follow the show.
When Cain goes off he knows how to pull himself back, Aaron, doesn't know how. So I hope Cain doesn't involve his nephew in whatever he's doing or planning. Cain has seen how destructive Aaron can be and has pulled him back because of two reasons, (1) he loves his nephew and don't want him hurt and (2) the biggest reason: facing his sister, Chas.
My first thought is that Robert is forced to do all these things. Somebody is threatening him in prison to do that. But then i remember the actor left the soap and its just beyond me how stupid the writers ruined this.
Haven't liked anything these new producers have done.Adam and Andy got proper exciting send offs.Not surprised what these hacks did to Robron.Makes no sense at all that Robert can't tell his husband he is being transferred.Very predictable to have Aaron angry and self destructive these producers are horrible☠☠
this is such poor writing like really. a divorce? maybe it would have been believable had they just taken a little more time to fully get rid of the character
whispers "self-destruct", then a bit louder "self-destruct!!" then "SELF-DESTRUCT!!!!" GO FOR IT!! They can't kill Aaron or put him in prison so have him forget about his soon to be ex husband (kind of how they did with Jackson), trash that business you built with him and your best mate. Have Andy come back, charges are dropped since the Whites have passed. I SWEAR if they have Vic come back after her trip and she starts dating Luke I will hate her more than ever. Poor Liv yo. Will they stay at the Mill or move? I have tons of questions
I was just thinking maybe the solicitor decided on his own to create a divorce degree in order to break the tie between Robert and Aaron as a way to make Roberts life simpler while in prison. Maybe later it would be away to either recast Robert or if Ryan wanted to come back to Emmerdale in the future.
Shame how the show invested 5 years of Aaron and Robert and today threw them under the bus like many soaps do. By having Robert ask divorce Made the case Ryan might not come back . The show could made them A team , With Cain might be good playing bad and get in trouble. These actors should had more respect from Emmerdale’s producers and writers.
The only endgame gay couple we only had is will and sonny all gay soap couple always break up. 🤔 I still think robron still a endgame couple, we shall see went he come back.

I don’t like that Aaron is going back to doing crime but I am glad that he is with his uncle again they have not been seen together for ages
