- You guys tell me! Which camera is better? The Gopro 7 or the DJI Osmo action. I personally am leaning more towards the GoPro 7 but both cameras are awesome and you would be happy with both the gopro 7 or the DJI OSMO Action.

Great video. Very good stabilisation on both. GoPro audio better but did pick up a lot of snow scraping. Osmo better in low light but GoPro better in high light.
Can you get your hands on a GoPro Fusion 360 & compare that to a 7?

@@JohnathanBuckhouse I just bought one so I'll be trying it out in NZ in a month. I don't have a standard GoPro but I'll do a comparison against the DJI Osmo mobile gimble using my Samsung Note 8.

Gopro has better audio and uses stabilization in 120fps where the osmo audio is much quieter of a mic input and only does stabilization up to 60fps. Also hyperlapse on the gopro is much smoother than just time lapse on the osmo.
I could go on and on. The osmo is a good point and shoot vlog camera with a big delay on the screen and the gopro is still the action camera choice.
What has me interested is the gopro 8.
Did you do any color correction to the video? I felt like the the osmo color was super flat and the audio sucked but GoPro audio isn’t great either. I feel like if it were $100-150 cheaper than the GoPro it’d be a good option but for the same price it’s GoPro all the way

I wonder about the cold. They say it will hold up better in the cold. But go pro claimed the same and it’s not very good in the really cold.

Johnathan Buckhouse I personally uses a xiaomi 4k for skiing and it withstand -20 celsius for 2 hours, Is the gopro better than that?

Michael Castro you can fix the gloom in post editing for the GoPro. This was all raw
On gloomy days the gopro typically looks much better. Hopefully Johnathan doesn't mind me sharing this but I did a crazy in depth sude by side on a snowy day.
