I am a 72 year old who until now thought that Pink Floyd was a psychedelic band , you may laugh.This guy is truly a grand master of the art and if he was here I would kiss his feet.Here is a musical equivalent of a mandelbrot,endless and ever changing.Goodness knows how long it took him to string all these musical fragments together.Did he have some kind of map in his head or is it the equivalent of a stream of consciousness outpouring and he knows exactly where to go in his vast musical library to bring it into reality. Thank you Globular,whoever you are.Om,shanti shanti.

It seems Morison Bennett (Globular) can do no wrong. A unique style. Always dynamic. I'm impressed.
Holy shit. I'm only at track two, and my brain is already blown off its hinges. That voice in track two...Mr. Mckenna? The Chalice is so...funky :) Total Perspective Vorvex is a beautiful adventure! One Step Beyond makes me dance. Be Patient towards What is Unsolved in Your Heart is beyond perfection. It expressed so much. And then I'm slapped with Dreamland Overflow. Dear lord the vibes. This is easily a new favorite track for me! Kaleidoscope Tribe is a great follow-up for that...then finally The Strange Attractor...is a phenomenally driving work of art. This is easily the best album I have heard this year. I want to paint to this later :)

Wow! This is grade AAA music! I hear some Shpongle influence but also some sounds that are unique to the artist...very good material. The psy is strong with this one.
Unfortunately it is again my person. Dasein, Kaleidoscope Tribe - I cannot stop wonder how His Psychedelical Majesty Globular had created them. For me this is the album of the year. New Ott, this style of dub hits the mark my heart so much. I am totaly impressed ;-) Having this album on vinyl is a must one day

I am going to have to revisit this one the next time I take a nice, long trip into the carpet.
I've always known about this album but I never actually took the time to sit down and listen to it until one day I was scrolling through Facebook and came across a video uploaded by Globular himself of a trippy visualization with the Terrance McKenna part of For the time being playing in the background, I was of course highly interested in what I heard and so I came here and holy shit am I glad I did. This album is a fucking masterpiece! Such lovely beautiful and psychedelic mind-bending tunes and melodies. For the Longest time now Are you Shpongled? Has always been labelled as my favorite album of all time but after sitting down and listening to this entire album all the way through from beginning to end I can now definitely say it's a tough fight between this and Are you Shpongled? As to which Is my favorite. I guess you can say it's kinda tied I'd easily rate both a 10/10, I've always felt as though Are you Shpongled? Was different from the other Shpongle Albums, for me it was the most craziest one and unique for it's dark atmospheres. Now I love shpongle I would probably even consider it my favorite music artist. But codex6 Turned out to be not what I expected it to be, it's not a bad album per say as a matter of fact its marvelous for what it is Its just not what I was hoping it would be, the only disappointment I had in it was that Shpongle did some re-hashes here and there of stuff they have done previously, you can especially notice this in the track empty branes. It doesn't make the album worse though, However this album...this Album right here is everything I was hoping codex6 would turn out to be, this honestly to me sounds like it would be the result of if Simon Posford and Ott Collaborated together to make an Album. And the closest thing we got to that is the Hallucinogen in dub Album :)

I discovered this band now, and it sounds very similar to Hallucinogen and Shpongle, nearly a copy even in the synth sounds, arpegios, voices, use of FM synth and filters reverb, the more I hear it the more I find it a copy.

I've listened to a lot of shpongle. They're amazing, but Globular's musical compositions always felt more cleaned up and focused. I can't speak for Ott since I haven't listened to them much.
