Your "how to change break pads" video got 2000 views and was your most viewed video, this video has nearly 20 thousand views.. congratulations 👏
I could not be more happy! thank you guys this video was made as a reference for myself so I remembered how to do my own brakes and I figured I should share for the world and It seems to have helped so many!
I just got my son this bike, he's learning the clutch. It's a pretty sweet little bike. Keep these kind of videos going man. I subbed
I appreciate that a ton! when I first got mine there wasn't too much info out there so as I learn ill keep positing!! thank you for the sub! Happy Riding !
Congrats,your blowing up!
haha I wouldn't say that but it is doing very well!
Hey I think your video looking over your ssr is awesome, I'm getting my first ssr 125 tomorrow. It needs work so I will be rebuilding the whole bike so that everything is up to par. Please keep up the ssr videos, I like your style.
matthew adams how’s your ssr?
Hey sorry I just saw i never replied! But I hope the build is going good!
good shit man thinking of buying one!
Great video you show a lot of details especially for audiences that are trying to get familiar with mechanical parts
Thank you I was defenetly in those shoes before so I know the more detail the better!
@@davidarmenta4812 I want to try to install the ignition system to my brand new RX 125cc coaster I'm hoping it shouldn't be that hard if I do some research on the internet step by step mechanical installment procedure
I love the fact, he loves his SSR. He probably could’ve bought a KTM, or at least a Kawasaki, after the money he has in this nice little bike😁
hahah! I probably should calculate everything on it! but I don't think I have come close to any of those quite yet haha!
2:27 that fly wants to ride
Please make more ssr videos and riding videos this is a great video i subbed keep it up i hope to see more pit bike vids in the future
+jake lavariere thank you funny you mention it I just went riding yesterday so once I edit it you will have a pretty long riding video! Thanks for the sub!
David Armenta no problem I cant wait 👍 also ill probably have a few questions about your ssr on that video but I'll save them until then but keep up the good work 👍 and keep posting the video content is with the people with 100k subs
jake lavariere sounds good man! I just moved so the internet guy comes in the morning so editing all day! And the goal is to grow ! Thanks for helping!!
new video man czcams.com/video/nOZQ4qID3qE/video.html
Great video lots of good info thanks!
thanks for the love hopefully more to come!
God bless! Spread the word!
Great video!
Thank you man!
great video thinking of getting one
DO IT!
Bro you can bolt the exhaust pipe together with the tube. That's what I did, it never falls out now.
How’s she holding up 4 years later lol... I subbed, seem like a cool dude who likes learning like myself!! Keep em coming
she still starts first kick! I love it so much! thank you so much
The random red kick start looks awesome though, maybe green if you change it?
Just picked one up for $300! All it needed was rear brakes. 35 buck later and I’m wheelieing everywhere!
Ethyn 199 whoa that’s a great deal! Enjoy
How u wheelie i got the clutch one, what u be in?
That sounds good
I’m a bit late to the party but thought I’d mention pulled tube stems is from low air pressure. Keep it over 25-30psi and you’ll be good. Cool vid, thanks 🙏
Thank you so much I read on the forums years back that you should run no more than 15 psi I think I run my car at 35 So idk if my tubes could handle 25-30
I hear what you’re saying but my point was that the rim can spin inside the tire when under inflations has occurred. Especially if your gearing is low. This will invariably rip the tube stem off:(
There should be a psi rating on the tire just try to be close to it👍👋

@@freezerburn04 good call I might just try it I mean what's the worst that can happen my valve stem rips off 🤣
Muffler clamp solution: Undo the clamp and remove muffler . Drink a can of soda. Keep the can. Use scissors and cut a stripe off the can. Wrap aluminum stripe around exhaust pipe. Re-attach muffler.
Kos Tis very interesting I might try it
Nice video dude, have you tried loctite on the exsaust clamp?
I want to say I did but I think they were just bad clamps.
@@davidarmenta4812 Gotcha, I just bought 2 of these over the weekend, the TR 125 BW for my g/f and the TR 140 BW for myself, pretty impressive with the overall quality so far. I don't like how much shit people talk about them.
@@marcmihelich971 haha that's super exciting I want the tr 125 with the upgraded parts but mainly those forks are so nice! I agree idk I guess people like to break their bank to have fun lol They are a blast!
if you want to stop that exhaust rattle i recommend measuring the size of the pipe and using the same size t bolt clamp for boost piping !!!!
thank you! ill look into this
@@davidarmenta4812 let me know how it works out
Thanks for the video thinking of getting one and I'm 6'1" 230 lbs and I wanted to know how well it rode with a bigger guy on there
they are an absolute blast man! a few upgrades can accommodate your hight like pro taper bars add about an inch to two for knee clearance also heave fork oil in the front forks and an adjustable rear shock i believe 11 inch is what i have and it doesn't squat nearly as much as stock! happy riding man! good luck!
I had a SSR this exact bike for three years and I switched over to a Kawasaki calyx 140
Did you have to change the clutch and brake cables to accommodate the new handlebars?
I did not I believe they are the Pro Taper SE XR 50 bars
I live out in the country. But not really interested in going “off-roading”. I’m just looking for something to ride in the ditches down to the local convenience store to get a soda or stuff like that. Less than 1 mile round trip. Is this something I would be happy with for that purpose?
100 percent and then some most people will buy those Colman bikes from tractor supply or sportsman's wear house for stuff like that and strap a cooler to the back
Info about the Rearshock. I need one, the link provided is broken. What is the model and brand on this shock? I am 250lbs on a SSR125 2018
ok I just checked my eBay account and it doesn't go back that far but I don't believe its a name brand I would get. one with dampening adjustments
Oh and by the way, did u get new plastics on this bike?
I did not in this video they were the stock SSR Plastics.
I just bought one of these brand new 2021 would I still need to do some of these upgrades or do you think stock should be good
congratulations on your new bike! and I would def. do that chain upgrade, and bars with grips personally, eventually the rear shock will need to be upgraded and the tires
did you have to do any jetting?
Hey bro, listen I just bought a brandnew Ssr sr 125. I need to assemble it. I hear everyone saying to loctight everything. My issue is there are 15 diff kinds of loctight threadlocker. What should I use? Medium grade?? Please advise.
I used what's called red loctight on mine man!
what goods man! where can i find the link to buy that chain you have on urs? thanks
I purchased the chain from a local motorcycle shop but it is the ProTaper 420 chain.
Thanks man I got a 125 my stator went bad idk if it’s cuz I’m 6ft 200 or just bc it’s been on the bike since I got it
Humm I am fortunate that didn't happen to me was the install easy?!
29. Love my 125
I love my ssr 125 fun little bike great vid ,also I'm 25 lol
Its a super fun bike! everyone loves to ride it and its super fun now that the new motor is in!
what pro taper bars you runnin!?
I’m running the proTaper SE bars!
I’m 5”4 and I’m thinking about buying this bike would it be too big or could I outgrow it too easily
I mean im 5 10 250lbs I don't think you are too big now eventually you might want a bigger bike but that's totally on you and how you use it! happy riding!
@@davidarmenta4812 thanks man and congrats on your vid blowing up
Damnnn can’t find that graphics kit on ali express. Is there any other website that sells something like that?
any CRF 50 parts place should fit Tbolt or try searching CRF50 Graphics on Aliexpress I see a ton I don't believe the ones I got had the logo on them in the picture so you might have to read the reviews to know if it does
@@davidarmenta4812oh ok thanks
put a rim lock on the rims that will stop flats from valve stem
I was just talking about this with a friend that might solve my problems lol
Cool super review I'm 220 lbs 5'7 and I was wondering my self would it be to small Maby not
absolutely not with this bike but with a CRF 50 you will but with a new rear shock and stiffer front fork oil you will be good to go! happy riding my friend!
Where can I get the chain adjustment screw u have
im not too sure possibly eBay or tbolt usa I believe its called a chain tensioner screw
I’m 24 and I just got my SSR 150
Heck yeah let me know how it is!
Bra. I'm 34 and I just got a 125cc...I weight 160 and little bike has power....get the 125cc...is worth it
Moises Jimenez dude I’m considering one, worried about their reliability and how hard it is to find parts, any concerns?
@@DeriveDjMC4 looks like you can find parts on Amazon or Ebay.
I dnt think is hard to find parts.
I've seen lots of videos about this bike and as long you do the proper care to the engine. It will go for a while
@@DeriveDjMC4 If you are buying new I never had any issues and parts are all mostly cry 50 parts
Buy a real muffler clamp that would fit that exhaust from your local parts store
What is the length on that rear shock?
Mine is an 11 inch rear shock
You should try some wheelies lol
thank you for the subscribe haha I have more videos coming its winter build time and my friend and I are working on a build and an engine swap!
Haha u actually have the clamp on the exhaust? I have rust welds holding it on mine😉
haha! I might try that one 😂
nvm answered at the end lol
haha always!
Where'd u get the plastic?
My entire next video is all about plastics and graphics but I get them from Ali Express!
@@davidarmenta4812 thanks👍
Anther new SSR video I'm trying to make them more frequent! all of my friends now have pit bikes so things might get interesting! But here it is How to put lights on your pit bike! goo.gl/immxeu thank you guys for the love and support
I’m 5.8 and 125 pounds can I ride it?
I’m 5 10 250 and I have a blast
You should get a custom seat cover with green stripes it would match the monster graphics super good. 👍
How tall are u?
I am 5 foot 10
Put locktite on it
What is the forums?
its kinda like a group discussion board where there is a topic and people give their input and try and help the person who is having the issue.
@@davidarmenta4812 is it a website or a reddit or a facebook group?
@@davvalstone7107 its a website mini riders there is so many just google put bike forums or ssr forums they all come up
I’m trading my warrior 350 tomorrow for one of these thanks for the review it was helpful
👀does your quad run? If it does they are ripping you off jus so u know
Ya it ran and I know I got ripped off it was a 12 year olds birthday and I wanted a pit bike was done messing with my warrior
Ah okay just letting you know lol.. 👍
how has the SSR been!? do you like it more than your warrior
Bro I just started this video and you need to honestly tighten that chain
two fingers of tension by the chain slider my dude!
@@davidarmenta4812 Oh it looks loose to me but nice video man keep up the good work
@@arcmember5599 thank you I appreciate it!
That little bike can haul your weight?
absolutely! watch my other videos!
this ones for you buddy czcams.com/video/nOZQ4qID3qE/video.html
How tall are you
about 5 foot 10
David Armenta I’m 5’11 and I wanted to know if I was to tall for that
Mr AppleBananaa nah you will be good
Your better off buy a cheap stolen an recovered KDX or Yamaha DT125R, I had a pit bike like that was a money pit , I snapped my chain , and spokes in back wheel
In the video I show the things you need to change and the chain was up there I had a no name bike when I was in high school the chain snapped and hit my stator cover and stator that was expensive to fix because I had no idea how to do so. The spokes have been a pain they need to be tightened correctly or the true of the wheel is off. they are not for everyone but so are bigger bikes. I feel like the maintenance on those is far more than these.
@@davidarmenta4812 yea everything that happened to you happen to me ,
Your breather house is ripped down the middle
lol what are you talking about?
David Armenta the crankcase breather tube
It's 70 cc
It's a 125 .... Well 140 video to come 🙃
You gotta have money to buy toys haha
Hustle Hustle and Hustle Hard lol
New video is up! I put a 140 in my SSR 125! czcams.com/video/nOZQ4qID3qE/video.html thank you guys for everything
Whats up man good video. Im thinking about picking up one of these im 215lbs and 6 ft will this bike be to small? Also subbed check out my channel sounds like we have the same interests !
Hey man I’m a little bigger than that and I have no problem on mine and I’ll check your channel out! Thanks for the comment man!
‘Kkk”kJ 8
Your way to big for that bike? The suspension is crying
thats why its upgraded and have heavy weight oil in the forks it helps so much
don’t be an asshole bro he’s not way to big bro the bike has 230 lb clearance fucking dick
tHE WHOLE BIKE IS NOT EVEN SSR ANYMORE
Damn Right lol
Don’t buy this bike!!
or do? I don't know what you went through but next time wear a helmet
"ummmm" *says something else* "uuuuummmmmmm" *says something more* "ummmmm" learn to stop saying "um" bud. Makes for bad commentary
