@@UkuleleWineTime The way you combine detailed explanations and simple exercises and smile is very enjoyable. It feels like being back in elementary school and gradually learning the letters. 🙂

Thanks so much. That's awesome - you can do it! Practice separately, and then put it all together. It is so helpful to line up the words with the chords to use as an anchor. Let me know how it goes! ☺

Loving this one day I won’t mute the f chord 🤦‍♀️ ..on the melody when ending with the g .. how would you finish if not going to another verse, g strum ? Oh yeah one day I’ll learn the island too … yup newbie and struggling..need me some 🍷🍷 my singing 😖 …

Hi Kath - thanks so much! You'll get it!! Are you aiming to. play the F chord with your finger tips (vs. finger pads)? Think "tall fingers" on the fretboard! If I understand your question - do you mean how would you finish the song going from the chorus? You would end it on a C chord for a final ending sound. Let me know if that's what you were asking! Regarding the Island strum- laying down a strong foundation by getting comfortable with counting 4 downstokes will help you get to the island strum! Look out for a strumming video soon too. 😊 And yes, sometimes wine helps too, haha!
