  • Hello, friends! In this video, I’m excited to present my new Lego RC car - a trophy truck designed specifically for off-road racing. I developed this model to handle any obstacles with ease, from rough roads and large rocks to steep slopes and jumps, all while remaining reliable and stable.
My buggy is equipped with two powerful Lego motors that transfer torque through a 1:1 gear ratio to a differential, distributing power evenly to the wheels. To enhance durability, I replaced the plastic U-joints with metal ones, allowing the drivetrain to withstand high loads.
One of the key features of this trophy truck is its long-travel suspension. The rear suspension is equipped with a progressive stiffness system with four springs, which automatically adjusts to road irregularities. The rear suspension also features an anti-roll bar, preventing the truck from tipping over. The front independent suspension has two stiff springs on each wheel and an anti-roll bar, ensuring control over the vehicle even at high speeds.
For this project, I also used modern RC electronics:
    Main control unit
    3S battery for increased power
Geekservo with 90 and 360 degrees of rotation
    3D-printed battery mount
    A pair of LEDs
Two Lego buggy motors - the most powerful in the Lego lineup
A controller to manage all these components
I’ll show you how to properly connect and configure all these elements so you can fully enjoy the model’s capabilities. We’ll test the motors' power, the flexibility of control, and explore different lighting modes as well as the tank steering mode.
It’s important to remember: when charging, do not charge both batteries simultaneously, and always ensure the correct polarity when connecting wires to avoid damage.
This model is designed with great attention to detail so that you can fully immerse yourself in the gameplay without constant repairs. A detailed assembly guide will be available on the channel for free very soon, so don’t miss it!
Don’t forget to use silicone grease on all moving parts to extend the lifespan of the model.
