The Astros, throughout their history, have been notoriously slow starters, and this year is not an exception. Good to see them back in first place, and do give them credit for taking care of business.

Tigers won’t sign him to a long term deal. You get him for 2 more years he won’t propel them to a World Series he pitches 1/5 days. The bats won’t get you there, he’ll easily flip into 4-5 prospects all of them good and some of them even elite. I think coby mayo and Samuel basallo could go but Jackson Holliday in no way gets traded. I doubt the orioles do the trade though and as an orioles fan I don’t want them too, I’d rather just get a zac efflin or the evoldi or whatever his name is from the rangers.

My Braves are toast. We cannot get healthy, we can't hit or score runs. Big bats are not producing this year, and some of the worst plate discipline I've ever seen from a Braves team almost top to bottom in this lineup. Back end of the lineup is complete trash in production. Our pitching has been solid with except for the 5th spot being rough at times but overall the pitching has kept us in games but we can't score runs. Playing 500 ball at best last 2 full months won't cut it. We come out the all star break looking worse than before the All star break. This team may struggle to get a wild card spot if we don't get some trade pieces that can help, and we need an arm and 2 bats at least to do that!!! Phillies should win this division by at least 10 games unless they collapse.
As a Rangers fan, I don't believe the Astros will be in the playoffs. I think the regular season will end similarly to last season, but it will be the Mariners in the playoffs. They will finish their season much further in the playoffs than what will be predicted. If I am wrong, it will be the Rangers. I think the Astros will struggle for the foreseeable future.

Mariners are hoping to get guys of a scrap heap and have them put in resurgent seasons but bats don’t get better when they got to SEA. They get worse.
