Especially when 2 of then are minors! And when they did reach out in the past(the adults/near adults) they were rejected. Ysabel reached out and asked her dad to be there at her surgery..and he turned her down! Gabe also mentioned before that Kody went 9 months without seeing them. Those kids have tried reaching out and have constantly been rebuffed..told they need to apologize to robyn or told they arent compliant enough so they cant spend time with him. When Kody reached out to Gabe on his birthday it was a selfish call to ask about Covid! Kody cant act like the phonr goes both ways when he was the one who damaged the relationship with his kids in the first place.

It's insane that Kody takes responsibility for NOTHING. The state of his family is in large part his fault, but he blames everyone else for not being loyal. Trying to rule with an iron fist is no way to rule a family. That's why he's losing them all. But he refuses to have any self reflection at all. Does he ever watch his own show?? Or does he blame the way he looks on editing. Always someone else's fault.

He’s more than a narcissist. He is an evil little man/boy who is willing to hurt others and does so on a regular basis. He knows they filmed for Christmas and he gave Robyn’s kids expensive bikes, but not a phone call or text to his biological children. Doing this was cruel, hurtful and evil.
You hit the nail on the head here. Kody has ZERO accountability. And for crying out loud, the phone may “work both ways” but he is supposed to be the ADULT here. You’re the dad-grow the eff up and call your daughter!!

His blatant abuse and negligent of Christine/Janelle/Meri, along with their kids, just isn't entertainment any longer. This is a sick, narcissistic man who has an immature mindset when it comes to raising children. He accused Christine of not "being an adult" well, he isn't even adult enough to call Savannah, who had nothing to do with his fight with Janelle. My heart goes out to the kids he doesn't prioritize.

Robyn is a piece of work for allowing her kids to get a lot of love, gifts, and attention on Xmas knowing Kody’s other minor kids were suffering. I hate that woman.

Janelle seems like a smart lady; i think she will get out this marriage and make the life she deserves.
Janelle needs to break this cycle for Savannah's sake. She needs to show her that it is okay to need love and attention from your father even if you don't "deserve" it. I worry that by staying in Flagstaff, Janelle gives her the message that she's undeserving of anything else.

After I watched this, a couple things came to mind. Christine was back in Flagstaff around the 27th of December. The discussion of Savanah not being contacted had to have been talked about between her and Janelle? Why is she upset now in mid January? Why didn't she or Janelle reach out to him the day Christine's kids went over to his house?
I'm assuming that maybe yes on the 27th they discussed Kody not contacting Savannah on Christmas, but hadn't realized there was no contact even the weeks after Christmas... Maybe come mid January Christine was surprised there there was still no contact.... I do think that Truly might have went to Kody's house when they got into town right after Christmas but I doubt Christine went to Robyns or that she would bring up anything about Savannah... She nor Janelle should have to say anything to Kody about calling any of his kids
Kody is a fine actor. What he wanted (and said so) over the last few years was to be rid of his 3 wives and older children. He made it happen by his rejections and fault finding and here he is talking as though he is disturbed by the loss. I call BS! The man crafted this because he wants to be monogamous with his youngest wife. What a maniplator and liar.
I see there being one last season after this is all said and done. I think itd be smart of TLC to follow Meri, Janelle, and christine in a seperate spin off show.

All I have to say is life is short. I lost my son unexpectedly at age 32, I can never see or talk to him again. If something should happen to any of his kids that he’s not talking to, he will regret it for the rest of his life!!
WHO is Janelle attached to in flagstaff?
Garrison bought a place there, Savanah is still in high school, Gabe is still in college there not to mention that Janelle loves living there and Savanah loves it there too. It’s close to Logan and Hunter in Las Vegas. Janelle loves Flagstaff and still hopes to build a house. Christine has a large family in Utah which is why she wanted to move back. Janelle can live where she’s happy and travel to UT, NC or anywhere she wants to go. The show is so far behind but we know Janelle stays in Flagstaff. I doubt Kody will stick around there anyway because he won’t be able to afford it.

This was hard to watch. Kody says that he doesn’t have the emotional strength to reach out to his children? Has he, even once, imagined what his children are going through? He is the father. He is the parent. He says, “the phone works both ways”, as though his children are as responsible as he is for the silence between them. He is 100 percent responsible. Yet all he does is sit there and stew in his vitriol and self pity like a man-child.
Him not taking any responsibility shouldn't be a surprise to them anymore. There's a reason that he calls Christine's kids "Christine's kids," why he refers to Janelle's boys as "Janelle's boys" and why refers to the kids he has with Robyn as "OUR children."
He talks about Janelle's boys but never Savannah. He is useless.
The " Sperm Donor " never see's anthything beyond is self serving goals.
