There was a game called Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales on the Nintendo DS too but this was better.

Seeing Tifa and Cloud seriously reminded me of the Final Fantasy 7 remake, could have used more FF7 characters though.

The only notable Final Fantasy chracters missing here are from ff8 and ff6

IceDoesntHelp When I think about it now, I don't think those characters could be included from games older than FF7 because they were 2d sprites

I love KH. but storyline wise FF games is way better, at least it's coherent unlike KH confusing storylines.
