Can’t speak for the original comment, but usually we (me included) expect singers to look perfect and like some kinda beauty standard. so when they aren’t, or maybe they look a little geeky or like themselves (aka a normal imperfect human), you don’t expect the voice of a sassy goddess to come out of that mouth.
