- Hello everyone! In this video, we will be looking at the full process from start to finish of locating and painting the hood numbers and other markings on our 1943 Willys MB project. This also involved adding US Govt. crest logos on the sides of the vehicle, as they were originally found.
I ordered stencils through Scott Watson, here is his website to reach out and order any stencils you might need. www.militaryvehiclestencils.com/

Marking my military vehicles up has been some of the most exciting and satisfying moments over the years. Well done 👍
Thanks! Yes - very rewarding to have the stars and numbers after going through the rest of the bodywork process. Icing on the cake!
Look great. You can see all the love you are putting into the Jeep.
Thanks! Appreciate it! They are a labor of love!
Great job. I will be doing the same on my ‘44 GPW in a few weeks.
Congrats and good luck on your project!
Watching how maticulus you are placing those stensils on I cant help but wonder how much time a factory worker took to paint the original ones during the war. I bet there were more than a few "minor" flaws in there application. Great video by the way..,
👍👍👍!
I'm Curious what the name of the website was for the Hood markings If they ever put it back up. I need it.😢
Did you get the paint from Kaiser Willys or army jeep parts?
I used the 33070 OD from Ron Fitzpatrick for this project.
Where did you get the decals for the jeep?
