- It's absolutely insane that Malta let's this be open. We don't really understand why they just abandoned it, with all the equipment, interior and patient files. It was very interesting to explore but a bit ununnerving. They're hopefully going to demolish or refurbish this hospital now that the media has picked up on it.

It's actually kinda cool hearing Anomaly being sincere about what a shame this all was. Like the mask slipping a bit and reminding us there's an actual human there and not just a hyperactive energy drink-addicted gremlin.

I think what happened, was it was abandoned, then people came in and just rammaged through everything, taking everything of value.

5:10 I really genuinely hope they took the radioactive material out of that before abandoning the place or Malta could have an actual disaster on their hands. An extremely similar thing happened in Brazil, just look up "the Goiânia accident"
there isnt anything radioactive inside it, it makes x-rays using a special bulb like thing which needs a strong powder supply to actually generate the rays. The Goiânia accident, they stole the machiene and turned it on thats why they died
@@kaaasis In the Goiânia accident they took the radiation source from a radiation therapy machine used on cancer patients which contained actual caesium salts. However, after some googling, you're right that the machine used for mammograms only contains an x ray tube. Though if they've left that behind along with more than one MRI machine I wouldn't doubt that they'd be stupid enough to leave behind other machines that actually do contain radioactive material.

Most likely tissue samples from patients infected with deseases the wanted to study, so way worse than radiation.
Perhaps its contaminated with too many hydrogen nuclei...

That's crazy, the X-Ray machine can contain an "orphan" radioactive source tho, so be careful! There was huge trouble with this in the past in Brasil, check Goiânia Incident :D Especially after that I assume they had took it, but you never know. Great video as allways 😁

Wow, crazy how no one was scared of the "blue glow" and basically showed it to their friends and family who later died or fell sick by radiation poison, never even heard of this incident before.

There used to be an abandoned Subaru dealership out in Malta somewhere. First article I saw of this was from 4 years ago. Some of the cars found inside were already auctioned off, not sure what's going on with the rest of the cars and the building itself, you might want to track it down and check it out.

For people who are wondering how the hospital got abandoned with all the stuff still there:
*Basically, the owner of the hospital got into financial troubles until they couldn't run the hospital anymore, employees were fired and there was no one to sell the equipment left and the owner basically couldn't do it so the building just started decaying, government wanted to buy it for €12 million but they walked away from the deal for some reason and since then the building is just vandalized and now it's basically worth nothing*
I love how Anomaly and Papanomaly don't try to make this some spooky fake youtube exploration, just a father and son having fun and exploring what was left over the years.
This content it's fucking amazing, keep it up!

Theres plenty of abandoned stuff to explore everywhere. I have found cool shit in Norway, and we never have cool shit. There's definetly a lot of cool abandoned stuff in Sweden, you just gotta do some research and look around :) If you show that you can be trusted to not reveal locations and don't do vandalism and other stuff that ruins a location, other people might give you hints to locations or trade locations with you :D

I live in Canterbury. The company on the keyring that you found is still in operation, but the address and information on the keyring is from an old site that they left in 2003 or so. There's some archeological study of the area that the company was at before. Now their offices seem to be a town over, in Sandwich, Kent.
Please do more of these videos, super cool seeing abandoned places but maybe next time you also wear a protective mask in case of the black mold :D

9:41 oh yes you can, there's acrually even better things in Sweden. It's very hidden though and takes time to find. I've been to many many amazing abandoned places in Sweden. Some are untouched like a time capsule
