      It's so fascinating. And I just love it.
      It just shows that Mike truly loves to create and to inspire others.
      God dammit.
      We don't deserve Mike Shinoda.
      ;^;
      I COULD LITERALLY sit in the studio for endless hours and just watch him work.
      It is truly so fascinating.

      @@Tess1061 Well now, (2020), although you can't sit with him in the studio, you can watch him make beats for endless hours. I guess your wish came true anyways hahahaha. thou he's no longer using Waves and is using Maschine.

      @@Duckquek17 Yeah - his twitch streaming has been a dream come true. I've been soaking it all up! It really reminds me of the days I would spend in my step dad's studio as a kid. Mike reminds me of him a lot. It's great fun to see him create music live. Brings back some fun and old memories of my childhood. And that aside, it's just cool as hell to see how Mike operates and what decisions he makes on the spot.

    Jesus christ, isn't it crazy how this is 10 years old, and only about 5/6 years ago people began catching up with this stuff?
    Like insane how he says that the quality you can have in the studio is the same you can have at your home, it actually became truth, but at the time, 2010s, I clearly remember that it was very fucking expensive to buy music production equipment, as of now everybody can buy a home studio for less than 300 dollars or something, and everybody knows how to make music, its fucking incredible.
    Thank god for that, and for the amazing industry and people that work in it. Music production gives a lot of meaning to my life.

    I love watching these kinds of explanatory videos whether it's about the music specifically or the band, etc. I love watching the "how to's" and "behind the scenes" just as much as the finished product - maybe even more :) This goes for movies too, although I'm not a big fan of movies. But I'll watch the behind the scenes all day! I know very little and do very little with computers, I just find it amazing on the endless capabilities - esp in the art world - that computer provide us with.

      +Jason Mercieca its not exposed. Everyone whos ever done any kind of production or recording or mixing work knows that it's basically the first plugin on every vocal - at least during initial work on the track and might then be later replaced by something a bit "better" sounding i.e melodyne.... In fact if I remember correctly in the little booklet for Hybrid Theory it actually says "Linkin Park uses (...) Antares Autotune (...)"

      I don't think they use it in a bad way tho, for example on this song Mike showed (The Catalyst) the vocals should sound affected. its not that neither of them can't sing, they just wanted that sound for vibes (or whatever you want to call it)
