Dr. Jeremiah my parents sent me to Vacation Bible School when I was 5 or 6. It was a Church of Christ. I went to the basement and sat at this round table with other kids. The very first song I heard was “Jesus Loves Me” and I remember right then knowing I loved him. When I was around 10 or 11, I wanted to be baptized but I was afraid to go to the alter call. So I was riding my bike home from school. I had my yellow jacket on and it came a warm steady rain, I threw my bike down tore off my rain jacket and jumped around before him asking him to baptize me in that warm rain. No doubt he loves me.
He’s saved my life at least 7 times. You Sir dropped me right on my knees today when you sung that wonderful song. I couldn’t believe it really! Thank you so much.
One think I know for sure, is that he loves me and he’s been faithful to me all of my life even when I’ve been horrible.
It’s exciting to talk about him isn’t it! Just like my granddaughter who rejoices in the smallest things. We like children get to rejoice in him.

Thank you Jesus for loving me, forgiving me, I have strayed on and off, struggling with my carnality but I put it before the cross. Sometimes when we stray, it becomes easier for the devil to accuse us and lie to us lest we believe we are enemies of God. But thank Jesus for his love, agape, divine, supernatural love. I needed to hear this. Thank you Holy Spirit for showing this to me. I still struggle with sin daily but I know deep down in my soul that I ultimately yearn for my Lord Jesus and without Him there is nothing but despair, darkness, emptiness. My prayers for other believers who are similarly struggling, meditate on God's love, pray, read His word, and He will reveal Himself to you, put your trust in Jesus and He will set you free!

You don’t understand the old and new covenant then if you think his love has to be balanced. You have an elementary view of the word. Gods love was revealed to the world and to all mankind even those who do wicked (that includes and included you). You have to understand all of scripture and not just cherry pick a verse from the OT and think it is still valid today.

With me, it was the other way around. In other words, BECAUSE I was emotionally abused by parents (mother), which caused me to have a great depression and being very suicidal, it caused me to receive God's love, since I never had love anywhere else. When He saved me at 23, He poured out love on me and gave me life, and now, I love encouraging others. Also, after I was saved, He gave me this verse one time. I was reading the Bible and ran into this verse and it jumped out at me and was like He was reading it to me. It says, "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up". As I was reading it, it felt like He had His arm around me, and I heard Him say, "I see what's going on. I understand, and I care". Years later, something happened, and the song "Good Good Father", by Chris Tomlin, came on the radio. It was the very first time I had ever heard the song and it came right at the time I needed it. I believe God had me to hear it at that time because it was too much of a coincidence, and then, I heard Him say, "I'm the only Father you've ever had, and I am the perfect Father ". These things have helped me. One thing in receiving God's love is to realize you were born as an individual, and not just into your parents' family. You are a unique person that God loves, and that Jesus died for, NO MATTER WHAT PARENTS YOU ARE BORN INTO (or from). If you had been born by other parents who were very loving, or if your parents did not abuse you, you still are a unique person that God loves and that God has a special plan for. You, as a unique individual, can still know God and let Him be your Father, your loving Father. If it's hard, receive it by faith. Get to know Him.

The problem has never been with God but with us turning away from him and getting caught up with this world. Jesus’s story of the Sower and the Seed speaks of this.

God lives in my heart I honestly can't hurt another human being even when they hurt me I trust Jesus Christ and place myself where I know that the passion for Christ like Love supersedes any harm to come that has already occurred and maybe happening to me by people earlier a man parked next to me pulled his dog out of the vehicle and the dog was his therapy animal and the man said he don't trust people but he trusts his dog he's been hurt so bad by people and I said I understand I've been harmed All My Life by people yet at almost 60 years old I have always just walked away I cannot hurt God's children because I am one as well and all is my family 🕊️✝️👍
