May I ask you, if a person opens a shop and adds me as a member, do they have to give me both the password and email of their account so I can log in as normally I would do with my own, or is it that there is some sort of way where they can add me by my Etsy or associated Gmail account? like I will be granted automatic access after they approve me from their side?

No. The shop owner must run the shop.

I don't believe a shop can have multiple logins.
