Subsidized shipping costs is a novel idea. Wouldn't that work out much of the same way based on shipping volume or quantity?
Hey Dua Cot! First, thanks for watching! The subsidised shipping (that I've witnessed or had the benefit of) occurs when the publisher uses some of their KS funds to offset the shipping cost to the benefit of the backers - or, they develop an add-on module - as was the case for Drop Drive by Phaseshift Games - which included content for all of their Dungeon Drop style games, at an extra cost of $10. Backers paid an extra $10 (completely optional, there was no demand to do so) and as a result will receive a heap of new content, cards, and modules for their games. The bast part about that was that the community wanted the content, got on board and helped them cover some of their shipping costs, allowing games to get sent to backers sooner (Dropped too Deep and Tavern Tales).
I do feel that shipping rates have eased a little (I'm a retailer myself), and the above was early 2021, but in relation to War for Arrakis, and the exchange rate here in the land Down Under, I couldn't justify spending more than half the cost of the pledge just to get it here. I'll wait for the retail version through my distributor.

Schofield is pronounced "Skofield" not "Showfield". It was a well known pistol of the Civil War/Western era known for its large caliber and powerful round.

I'd say it wouldn't be too far off, Lycan. Shipping has been a nightmare the past few years but things are slowly starting to get back to normal. We're getting an influx of KS games and it's getting hard to keep up with unboxings, playthroughs and even space to store everything!

While I dig the quality, it's a very boring release when it comes to minis. You can only do as much with a Wild West theme. Pretty much every hero mini is holding a gun or a machete, lol. Just a bit different pose.
Hey Dusan! You're right - some of the poses do feel 'same-same' after a while - in fact I do find myself gravitating towards those minis that do have a point of difference - the Steampunk box of Stretch Goals, for example. Or the ones with the coats blowing in the wind - that sort of thing. A lot of the survivors are still yet to head out on a mission.
