Send all squatters to the White House and to Delaware.

It's unbelievable what we are allowing in our country!

  • @jimsimmons6929

It’s one thing to be homeless that’s sad in itself but to blatantly bite the hand that feeds you by trashing the place is unacceptable PERIOD!

This is coming to all cities/towns no matter the size. This bogus "compassion" for addicts and mentally ill people is not compassion at all. Enabling people to live like animals is not compassion at all.

I think a housing crash in Wyoming will happen because all those people who bought homes over asking price, although it was at a low interest rate, they are over their heads. They have no equity if the housing prices continue to go down, and if for whatever reason they cannot afford the house anymore and it goes into foreclosure because even if they try to sell, they will not make any money. I think this will happen to a lot of people especially with the massive layoff predicted for the future and the cost of living rising at a high speed.

" We have a duty to the people who live here ". What a refreshing statement from a mayor of an American city. Its a shame many others don't understand that.

Squatters is a misnomer. They should be classified as home invaders. The property owner should have every right to defend their property and their lives. There is no excuse for courts to drag their feet forever to get these vermin out.

Casper resident here. This was basically an oversight. People were not paying attention to this property, which had closed some time ago. We allow our law enforcement and DA to do their work so these people are going to get nailed. Screw compassion, most homeless people ARE dope addicts and have dangerous mental illnesses.

Why does the announcer keep referencing armed citizens. Any knowledgeable person should know that a person who carries would never use - or even brandish - their weapon unless circumstances were extreme/life threatening. This unfairly represents people who own and carry legally.

  • @edwardbirdsall6580

Load them on a bus and send them to Biden

  • @craigsawicky1643

The fact that so many Carry yet few are shot rather indicates that those with the firearms understand the law, and it's possible presenter doesn't.

I live in Casper and it is a beautiful and safe city. At times it can be eye opening. Like seeing a 70 year old grandmother with a gun strapped to her hip. Most people here don’t care, and just go about their business. I have never felt like I was in danger here. The mayor will handle this problem in a proper manner I’m sure.

Wyoming? For Pete's sake. Enough! Of this craziness! Vagrants can get a job or go to prison.

  • @caveman4christ822

Well , when you make it illegal to stop anyone from criminal activity, and you make it illegal to defend yourself . This is what happens . Time to start counting copper lead brass

  • @user-mt6tz6gg4u

Winter Is Coming , Winter Is Coming

  • @leslieturcotte1008

Here in VT we had the same issue during the pandemic. Our local hotels had the same destruction. We're talking homeless, not illegal migrants. I knew a working homeless couple that did everything they could to get out of the hotel they were placed in. People wanted to smoke in the hotel, so they pulled out the smoke detectors in the whole wing. Obvious safety risk. Days after this couple were out, there was a fire. The government was obligated to find other shelter, while repairs were made. The true epidemic is mental illness (either organic or with drug use) & anti-social behavior (screw you, I do what I want).

  • @AllBetsAreOff-zt7xx

I hope that the Mayor has purposely neglected to tell us how uncomfortable Casper authorities are making it for these transplanted Californians to live there homeless in Casper. The more unpleasant the experience the more likely they will leave come Winter.
