    Cool video and tips again. I have visited Pompeii and Tuscany but not as day trips from Rome. Vatican City is there around Rome. I did take the high speed train from Rome to Florence as a day trip as well. Tivoli is one place that I did not visit but it looks really nice

      Thank you again for sharing your travel experience with us. Definite check out Tivoli the next time you are in Rome.

    The Vatican isn’t a day trip from Rome. Nice technicality. Pompeii in the summer is like touring an oven. There is no shade WHATSOEVER. Spend your time on the Amalfi.

    The picture you showed as Sistine chapel is not actually Sistine chapel ceiling. It is San Nicolás de Bari in Valencia, Spain. I've been to both and I can say San Nicolas is better and you can even take pictures of it and comes with a very good audio guide. Good guide though 👍🏽

    Ostia Antica is less than an hour from Rome and is reached on public transportation

    Mentioning Tivoli without mentioning Villa Adriana is almost a crime, but with the focus on food in the video (and the American accent) it's not that surprising

      Depend how much time you have. I think you'll enjoy Barcelona, Marseille, Saint-Tropez, Nice, Monaco, Genoa, Cinque Terre, Florence, Tuscany and Rome. Enjoy!

    Hi, I’m going to Rome this Dec for 5 to 6 days, can anyone propose itinerary?

    • @diannasteele3206
      @diannasteele3206 Před 9 měsíci

      Make it 6 days so you're not rushed. Plan on Rome as your central lodging point, then take a couple of day trips to Tivoli and Amalfi Coast/Pompeii. Use the rest of the time to explore Rome (Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Palatine Hill, Roman Forum, Spanish Steps, Castle, whatever your heart desires...) and Vatican City. Hop on/Hop off buses make it easy to explore at your own pace (get a 3 day pass). And if you want guided tours with skip-the-line entrance tickets, I REALLY like LivTours because they are personal and their customer service is quick, no corporate runaround. ENJOY!

    How long does it take to get from Rome to Pompeii?

    • @MultiCityTrips
      @MultiCityTrips  Před 3 lety +1

      If you take the train it will take anywhere between 2.5 - 3.5 hours from Roma Termini. There are at least 20+ trains per day leaving from Rome to Pompeii so you got plenty of options. Keep in mind that there is no direct train so most likely you'll be taking a high-speed train to Naples (takes only 70 minutes) and then from there you will take a regional train to Pompeii. Alternatively, there are several organized day trips from Rome to Naples you can join as well.

      @@MultiCityTrips what is the name of high speed train and the name of normal train plz? Will be travelling to rome in 2 days. Thanks in advance

    • @MultiCityTrips
      @MultiCityTrips  Před 2 lety +1

      @@s3242345 It's best to go directly to websites such as trainline, raileurope and search for the best available trains (regardless of the company name)base on your preferred dates and times. These websites will list both high-speed and normal trains along with the pricing. Typically, the high-speed train is non-stop and much shorter time but more expensive. But sometimes, if the regular train has one stop but half price and only take 10-20 minute longer it's worth look into it. Another site I recommend is Omio. you can compare the best way to travel. In some cases, travel by bus and flights are as convenient and actually cheaper. Have fun in Rome!

    When you talk about eateries, it would be helpful if you posted the name on the screen or in your notes so we can write it down. For someone who doesn't know the Italian language, it sounds like gibberish.
