    Here's the 8 Steps
    Step 1: Clarify the task in your own mind
    Step 2: Delegate to the right person
    Step 3: Always have a deadline
    Step 4: Communicate your plan orally and in writing
    Step 5: Ask for progress reports in accordance with the level of delegation
    Step 6: Be sure you delegate the authority along with the responsibility
    Step 7: Give them praise and feedback at the end of the project
    Step 8: Don’t be a perfectionist

    I 100% follow this philosophy as a fabricator with my helpers, I mean they're so committed when they're working with me they don't stop working until I take a break, when people give you a hundred percent effort as a leader you have to support it financially and help them improve their skill.

    Rarely do you get this kind of mindset from employers. It probably has to do with upbringing and remembering where one started from as well as not being afraid to let others shine as well!! By far one of my favorite videos

      Easy to say when you're delegating as a general manager with someone else's money. When its YOUR MONEY it HAS TO PERFECT. It's the difference between your business living and dying. Dan lok doesn't understand this.

    9:40 UNIVERSE: I do the same thing. When I get stressed, I think of the universe. Throws everything into perspective. Restructure my thought process and handle my shit differently.

    Excellent point on valuing staff, Dan - you pay peanuts, you get monkeys. Each employee, in some way shape or form, should make your business money or save your business money. Get them onside and your business will flourish.

      I struggled with those 2 and went over it about 3 times. I think what he means is, What is it that needs doing and what will that thing need to get done? That's how in the end I understood it. Hope it helps?

    • @josephfernandez3591
      @josephfernandez3591 Před 6 lety

      What is to be done means what is normally to get accomplish. What does needs to be done means the very urgently to be done or the work to be prioritize. Only my modest opinion.
