- Today I did some 400 invocation toa runs and hit another pb. I've been running a lot of these to see the lowest possible time I could get and I think these could possibly be ran under 21 minutes. I made a few improvements in this run also that consistently get runs under 25 minutes.

I find tanking ba-ba instead of red x in 400+ with bandos feels like RNG to me. Sometimes it'll go fine, sometimes i have to yellow keris before the first set of boulders come out. Is this just something i have to deal with using bandos?

are you using bgs for 400s? it makes room a lot quicker and bloodfury heals a lot more after spec compared to no bgs. i haven't tested 400+ invo with bandos so not too sure how tanky it is compared to torva but i barely take any damage with it on

Just wondering, i have managed to get a staff and am rebuilding with ahrims. However, I managed to keep full crystal/bowfa.
However, I am running torso/blessed chaps/fury etc for melee. After getting ancestral and maxing my magic dps with staff, should I get max melee with torva or do i get a tbow and sell the bowfa?
sorry for late reply but it mostly depends on the invos you run. if doing 500s i would suggest max mage with torva since you can 3 down the core in p2 warden with rapier and no bgs. Magus/ultor is really overpowered for overly draining runs and bonedagger does a lot of dps.
Twisted bow is really close dps to shadow with magus so not really saving time in zebak.(300 invocation toa wr even uses shadow/magus/zcb instead of zcb/tbow) For p2 warden your only using bowfa/tbow for 1 phase so time saved isn't too much. for example if i used bowfa instead of tbow in this run it probably would've been low 23 minute run.
torva will probably give you 4+ max hits it would save a lot more time than using tbow for one phase at wardens.
For above in the 500 invos would not suggest using ultor/magus for lower invocations(without overly draining) and using voidwaker/zcb with lightbearer. Being able to voidwaker spec the arcane at kephri and swarm saves a lot more time than torva and possibly even at baba

3rd age pick for akkha puzzle when?
I haven't done toa in a while, is sceptre still the move for zebak, warden p4 or nah?
Sceptre is patched and only has around 30-40% accuracy on zebak. It used to have 70% accuracy and roll off 0 invo on all bosses. I use seercull now with amethyst arrows and its really similar to sceptre with around a 14 average hit(someone calced it and i think it was this)
Can you use the ambrosia with dehydration on?
nope which really sucks
can't use any brews/ambrosia with dehydration on only keris to heal
How you're not taking consecutive 15s through prayer at baba is beyond me. I get absolutely smashed and can't survive if i dont red x
are you using full torva and bgs? i usually dont need to red x if bgs hits i sometimes need to near the end of the kill if it doesn't but i feel like i dont in 90% of runs
Why camp Serp helm instead of torva? just curious
probably for the shamans in the baba puzzle, 1 blowpipe shot = no more thrall spawns

blowpipe with serp helm stops shamans from spawning thralls. it makes the monkey room a lot faster for me in higher invos although you can get similar times without serp which might be better for some runs since you dont take as much damage from the shamans mage attack.

what is your client size on fixed mode??
I play on smallest client size. i've tried resizeable/changing size and i can barely pvm so keep it at smallest since i've gotten used to it
Why do you drop chaos runes there on p2 wardens?
I drop them since i don't need them for death charge only the soul runes. i usually drop them farther away now since i have died from items on ground/thralls before so like the area near p2 wardens to be clear

@tylermothershed8580 yep it works on p2 you can get 15% spec back after each core phase
Wait is shadow better at zebak?
shadow with magus is more dps than full range without zaryte vambraces. full range switches is more dps than shadow though. with tbow can also wear lightbearer and get a extra zcb spec which could get kills a little faster but i've noticed shadow is usually faster over a lot of kills while tbow is a lot slower if zcb/bgs doesn't hit. bgs also has around 60-70% accuracy while sceptre feels a lot higher. i've used sceptre in 500 invo where it has around 30% accuracy on calcs but i feel like it hits 90%+ of the time(i've talked to some people and we think the accuracy rolls on 0 invo for bosses). without bgs/sceptre i feel like boss is 30 seconds-1 minute slower which i've had happen a lot with tbow/bgs

Why Baba first?
Range and mage benefit more from salts on zebak than melee does on baba.
Also prepot antivenom is a nice luxury
melee gets a bigger dps boost from super combat compared to heart/ranging pot on zebak/akkha. it saves a lot of time on zebak which is usually close to 4 minutes for me without salt/adrenaline
