The Royal Hashemite Court had confirmed in April that the couple was eagerly anticipating their first child, due later this summer.
Crown Prince Al Hussein, who holds the position as heir to the Jordanian throne, married Princess Rajwa, a prominent Saudi architect with ties to the Saudi royal family, in a ceremony held at the historic Zahran Palace in Amman in June 2023. This palace has been the site of numerous significant royal weddings, including that of King Abdullah II to Queen Rania and his father, the late King Hussein bin Talal.
