I am a videographer here in Bahrain. I film arab weddings everynight. Different arab weddings, sudanese, lebanese, from qatar, saudi, uae. What I learned, they have different cultures and different rituals and styles. But there are two types, open party and close party. Close party are those who do not want to be seen by men, they have to wear abayas or hijabs. But in this case is open party, they can celebrate with men. And video or pictures are allowed to be uploaded on public, internet for everyone to see. I hope you guys before you comment, you must know first the difference and ask yourself, if you have been to any different arab weddings. So you guys will know and see. Even they are muslims, they are allowed to enjoy their wedding night like every religion or races or other culture in this world. do respect theirs.

True, there are closed and open parties. The closed ones are gender segregated so everyone can truly enjoy themselves. Open ones do happen but religious wise they are wrong. So what is wrong is still wrong and you cant penalise people for pointing that out if they do so politely. That is not "disrespect". To disrespect would be to insult. Otherwise it would be utter hypocrisy when you can point out something that YOU believe is wrong but penalise others for doing so. And no, İslam is not like "every other religion in this world".

+The Gastral I was in Sarajevo on wedding of my college friend also. It was quite similar to this. Very energetic and friendly and men and women having fun together. I was also suprised lots of alchohol(rakija sljivovica) and roasted lamb,many got drunk. Far from any stereotypes on muslim communities. Lebanon and Bosnia are really special muslim countries and I mean that in a very positive perspective.
