Hunter is my favourite skill too, and was my first 99. I'm one of those weirdos who actually do Hunter for fun lol. Birdhouses to Lvl 80 and then red chins to 99. Everything after that is recreation and fun.
Pro tip for bird house runs: bring an extra clockwork to fossil island. You can always be running and making another birdhouse during the run and it being forced to wait for the loot and the make.
Note: You can use herb seeds for birdhouses as well currently if you really want to, but even using the cheapest seeds it's still a more costly idea than hops.
if you stick to the north tunnel you get use to the path and it becomes quick, if you want you could also just chisel them with the market atm it works out about the same. but yeah north most tunnel always @@Thoregon5
Hunter was my first 99. I don't really get the hate. Same with runecraft. Better xp and more chill than mining and agility. Both skills beat mining in money and would beat agility in money without sepulchre.
I swear most people hate hunter because they heard other people hate hunter. Fast xp, peaks close to 2m gp/hr. It's click intensive I guess, but what're you doing on OSRS if you don't wanna click? Hunter isn't too bad, but the last update it got was herbiboar so they could add to it
Am I the only one that crafts their birdhouses after each run and stores them for next time? That way I can leave the hammer and chisel in the bank for extra space...
I bought 100 clockworks when i started doing birdhouse runs and always craft birdhouses at the bank and take 4 with me on the run. Crafting 100 birdhouses takes about 5 - 10 minutes and can be done when you're bankstanding anyway (e.g. for high-alching, fletching and other stuff)
I binge watch guides. You never know what you might learn.
Pro tip for black chin: Use magic imp box to bank your chins at lvl 29 wild. You don't need to go bank

for bird houses, slightly faster if you take 1 clock work with you from bank and make that birdhouse on the way to the 1st
At lot of people don’t realize that just spamming eclectic imps in purp purp can give up to close to 2 mil per hour.
Didn’t see it get mentioned but sabre-toothed kebbits are also a really good for money and xp.

Its better to train hunter to get a spotted/spottier cape instead of a geacefull cape once you left f2p to membership.
