Some actors just like to focus on their performance and some people aren't giggly children. Outtakes really aren't very funny 99% of the time. It's just playing up to the audience.

Yeah agree. I get she's in character but this isn't Breaking Bad lol.
It's just a sitcom, where each line and scene doesn't require much change in your manner as Martin, Neil and Caroline prove.
