I did read on Facebook awhile ago that someone wanted Caleb off Heartland, because they felt like Caleb lost his place on the show, so who knows what going to happen.
Don’t think Kerry wants off the show. Saw him say he hopes it goes on forever, he loves doing the show. He’s been doing it along with TWH in Toronto for 2 seasons now. He’s got many projects in the works
Caleb character is gone another main strong character. They are trying to make a new Heartland show and it is failing miserably! They need a reunion finale of original Heartland storyline and back to Heartland tv series roots. It is no longer Heartland tv series. They have been pushing Kerry James character to an exit since season 16, not surprised they are doing this. Except the only thing they are doing right is not killing off his character so if they need him to do a guest visit they can easily put him in the script. Worst decisions ever what they have done since they killed off Ty character to no existence and trying to spin off a new Heartland that is not Heartland to give Amy a new man is all they have. All the original characters are leaving they have nothing left for this show to continue. They need a two hour reunion and finale movie of Heartland tv series with all the original characters to a happy ending of Heartland tv series. Sad part it will never happen. Sad the havoc they have done to this tv series. Not Heartland no longer. Now it is called the Amy and Lou love life show.
Caleb is leaving Heartland to go on another show , can't make a living on a few lines script every other week !! That's the way it is with a series .

I can understand why they leave. They love doing the show but getting less and less appearance time. They can’t turn down a lucrative project to stay in Heartland for a few episodes. Caleb has gotten less and less appearances as each season is made. Jack and Amy are probably the only characters that have not missed being in an episode. Still an excellent show, just losing characters = losing fans and it’s appeal.
