Yeah true to me too. She is a gifted singer. She opened her heart when she sings, draw us in, into her journey of LOVE. That energy can only come from certain unique anointed singers. That is why not only Germany but the whole world connects her across color, creed, religion!!
Walaupun sering ngikutin tayangannya di youtube dan sudah selesai nih acara, saya masih sering buka2 youtube2 yang nayangin Claudia Emmanuela Santoso.... dan tiap liat dia nyanyi saya selalu menitikkan airmata haru karena penghayatan terhadap lagu sangat luar biasa, menurut saya.... Thanks Weasly for your analysis on this video. She really has power, clean voice, voice range very large. She control her voice very well. I don't know on whether she taken singing training or not. She looks very clever to manage the emotion and no delay or overlap with the music she she sang with her own version not copy the original. Really great...!!!

Her mother took Claudia to a non-formal music school since she was 4 yo. She has been a singer at school and church for a long time as well as participated at a number of local talent show or singing competitions. Though she is very young her current skill is a result of her long experiences.

Morisette's version is great, I agree, but after 2 times listening to her I got bored, while listening to Claudia's version I never get bored, to me Claudia really delivered the feeling and true emotion of this song directly to our hearts. I just wanna listen to Claudia again and again, I got chills, I got goosebumps on every inch of my body, this is something I didn't feel when listening to Morrisette's version of this song. To me Claudia is better than Morrisette in terms of showing the true feeling and story from this song.
Maybe,.. Maybe Morrisete sings technically better than Claudia. Morrisete sends her beautiful voice to the listeners' eardrums, but Claudia sends her feelings through her voice to the listeners' hearts. I think that's the difference between these two talented young ladies

This little girl is the best singer so far and I listen every day and tear from my eye.

it is not normal that the german audience wants an encore - only if you topped everything ........and she did that and the encore was better than her first singing.
I agree with you. The encore is better due to the fact that she has no more pressure which makes her to release all her capabilities and sang it freely.

I think the first one was better. The encore lacks emotions because she couldn't contain herself (I don't blame her), a lot of excitement I'm sure. Also during encore I think in the beginning she sang the wrong verse but she recovered nicely

Dia menyanyikan lagu yg paling iconic dlm movie itu, lagu ini sangat populer, jujur lagu ini karena iconic merupakan pusat dari the greatest showman musical yg berjudul never enough, Dan kalian tahu aku paling suka mengkritik apalagi lagu ini sangat populer. Jadi coba bayangkan saat saya membaca judulnya, saya sangat tertarik untuk melihat seberapa bagusnya sih apalagi sudah ditonton jutaan orang dalam waktu yg pendek,dugaan saya she did well, now sebelum kita nonton video ini saya mau bilang, untuk dapat menyanyikan lagu ini di butuhkan skill yg hebat,kamu bisa meniru-niru tapi pasti ketahuan, kamu harus habis2an atau gak usah sama sekali,harus punya skill tinggi untuk menguasai nada,control dan memenangkan massa karena lagu ini berasosiasi dng filmnya, yuk kita langsung nonton lagu yg dibawkan Oleg Claudia...oh ada yg nonton di web cam, (pause) analisa dikit dia kelihatan kecil mungil padahal saya tidak kenal dia, anda butuh geraham/rahang power Dan karisma

Si Claudia nyanyi lagu yg iconic, powerful, unik jg banyak trick,
Khususnya buat cewek untuk suara rendah, cewek biasanya gak punya suara yg paling rendah untuk di kontrol, kalo gak akan sumbang.
Si Claudia tadi aku pikir dia menahan lagu terlalu lama atau di potong pendek atau masalah vocaborary karena bukan bahasa sendiri tapi karena di arena Audisi(pressure),munkin bukan bahasa sendiri(gak tau dari negara mana) tapi dia bagus banget malah dua kali di suruh nyanyi Dan mampu mereplika lagu yg pertama ,menunjukkan kemampuan Dan skill, vibrato Dan juga falsato yg pas nyanyi note tertentu stabil, di tahan dng waktu yg pas, bisa pendek bisa panjang tapi dia bisa pas, beda dengan lagu asli tapi dia berani merubah naik turun untuk mencobanya, walaupun lagu ini luar biasa Susahnya apalagi di arena Audisi? Claudia sangat fantastik, kemampuan musiknya kena, nada dia bagus banget karena bisa hit nada rendah dan tinggi tanpa kesulitan Dan dia kayaknya nyantai aja, pas bagian belting dia gak over, Dan Claudia mengerti dasar dari cerita lagu tsb yg membuat lagu ini sangat powerful, kamu bisa nyanyi lirik lagu tsb dengan baik tapi kalo gak melibatkan cerita dibalik lagu ini...gak ada gunanya menurut saya.
Intinya dari cerita lagu ini menceritakan/mendongengkan sesuatu yg poweful dan penuh emosi Dan Claudia nyanyi yg kedua kali membuat saya merinding dan aku bisa merasakannya

Yeah man your analysis is spot on.
It is the storytelling part of music hence the ability to connect to the audience that makes the deepest impression of a singer.
Claudia did just that.
I thought that it would be difficult for her to top this audition piece, however this was not the case. She again did just that and probably more in the Final stage with a duet with her coach, Alice Merton when they sang "Goodbye" a much lesser known song written by Alice. It was simply pure emotion, stunningly expressive performance.
I keep watching Claudia video over the years and still amazed with her fantastic singing skill. I also admire Weasly analysis of the song and the skill required to get the it right

I knew claudia in interview by PPPI , she studied voice music courdr in cirebon since 4 or 5 year old untli 16 and graduated . She can become a teacher voice . But the regulation she still 16 can't do it. There is claudia sorry if my english not so well thanks
