Ripped Up1 What's wrong with the structure? You're not the person first I've seen to be critical of the tournament. I'm from the UK, so I don't really get the structure, plus, I'm following the tournament for the first time, but have heard of it for a few years. What are your criticisms?
A96oaye basically the winner of each conference is guaranteed a home quarterfinal, even tho teams from other conferences have more points than them on the table so technically should be hosting a quarterfinal. Also some of the teams in the South African conferences don't even have to vs a New Zealand team meaning they get an easier ride to the finals.
A great first half from the Reds but against the mighty Crusaders you have to play for the 80-90 mins. Even with 14 men in the last 10 mins, Reds can't even break the line. Go Crusaders and well wishes to the Trio injured and hope not too bad.

Everything in cycles , we have depth because of the not having to compete against other codes for our player's AFL NRL etc... cycles for Oz rugby, come around alot less frequently because of those very same reasons.... Dont give up hope , NZRU needs Aussie rugby to be strong... Iron sharpens iron.

Have been for years , a few get through the rest end up staying on in oz with an apprenticeship or work. Look at the amount of kiwis in the junior and reserve nrl sides it's disgusting. Our union pool could be much deeper

Actually worst case he knocks it on and the Crusaders retain the ball with advantage meaning that if they don't score there's a 5m scrum. Nobody wants a 5m scrum against the Crusaders.
Don't let the reds blowing a 17-0 lead distract you from the fact that the Atlanta Falcons blew a 28-3 lead in the superbowl.
Crusaders could as well start their next match with 14 men if they're going to continue like that!
