    This doesn't work in an actual fight. I'm so bored with these unrealistic people teaching to so called real combat skills.

      Tony Ferguson uses trapping whenever he fights… so it does work.

      Your both clueless the attacking fist is far too fast in a real fight for trapping and all the other fancy looking. I have never seen it work. I learned jkd and all the trapping concept. In a real fight it just simply does not work. Boxing is about the closest to reality your going to get.

    Kid gets in two shots that I need to trap, that's alot of skill to develop. Why not slip the first?

    • @josephmoore977
      @josephmoore977 Před 3 měsíci +2

      Agree. Wing Chun is clearly effective in fighting, as demonstrated by Anderson Silva but from a self defense point, probably not the best. Not to say it's ineffective, but I believe there are better methods. Regardless, Kevin Goat does have some great content. No disrespect whatsoever, but trapping and fine motor skills become almost nonexistent in a dangerous encounter.

    Normaly it´s just the other way round. A bigger guy wants to demonstrate his power against a smaler guy. I would prefer, when you show some techniques for this case.

  • @Non-Serviam300

    You won’t know who is faster until the fight starts and by then it’s probably too late. I like that you bridge the gap but I think you waste too much time blocking and trapping in order to “get there.”
    If I’m facing a faster opponent, I definitely won’t waste time blocking. If you are slower - you need to make better use of your time, not less. Blocking and trapping when it’s not necessary will only slow you down, which is exactly what you don’t want - especially if the opponent is faster. And if I’m the older fighter I’m probably not going to be using my head as a battering ram when I could be using my elbows and knees.
