ADI’s pre-calibrated IMUs offer a simple platform to develop robust inclination sensing for a variety of applications including for industrial machinery like construction, agriculture, excavation, marine, and others where precise pitch and roll are required in the face of challenging conditions. Measuring inclination on moving/accelerating platforms requires sensor fusion to account for any linear acceleration. ADI´s 6-degree-of-freedom IMUs are an ideal platform since they are already pre-calibrated to eliminate systematic and environmental error sources and offer a convenient tool that reduces manufacturing costs for customers and streamlines time-to-market.
