I just brought hoards of dangerous raiders from Nuka-World to the Commonwealth, and, well, I was looking for someone wasn't I? OH yeah, my son. Well, Shaun can wait, Far Harbor, here I come.
She's easier to find if the rest of Far Harbor is all sorted

Imo, you are supposed to NOT have an end game character when you get to the island and find Acadia with the OldLongFellow as the first mission.
@@the_DeadEye Far Harbor will get you an end game character in short order. The island is rich with high XP foes with plenty of legendaries that drop good loot. Moreover, the cap costs of the purchasable uniques are SKY high. If you don't show up stupid-rich you will pillage the entire island trying to pay for all the unique gear.
Oakspar Oakspar sounds like when I played Nuka World. I took a non end character and that character took so much damage and used up so much ammunition until my character went from level 20 to level 65.

The fog would have been more impactful if it was as creepy and scary as the cloud in the Sierra Madre. It's hyped when you arrive on the island, but there's nothing special about it.

Would’ve been awesome if spending too much time in the fog caused greater status effects in addition to rads. Like causing loss of perception and intelligence, simulated you going insane and gave you more of a reason to avoid the fog.
Here in 2024, just discovered Oxhorn and wow, these F4 videos are so awesome, finally doing a F4 play through and these videos are the perfect companion

Nice far harbor is obviously the best dlc and is unbelievable just the sheer amount of detail they put into the game
I for one would frequent a bar that had an adorable cat available for pets as I drank. Nothing better for drowning your worries than booze and kitties.
You need to go to Japan friend. They have Exactly that. "Cat Cafes" Serve all kinds of drinks including alcohol and have many cats for petting.

Perhaps the reason there was a nuka cola quantum and not a vim drink is because one of the previously mentioned people who were attacking vim property placed it there.

In my game, I sent Uncle Ken to Far Harbor. I then proceeded to build-up the Visitors Center into the largest, most profitable settlement on the island with none of the profits going to Uncle Ken and his family.
Seems like a happy ending to me...
Never heard Uncle Ken's views on the captain's dance, priceless :D

Hey so I was starting a new game of fallout for and when I was in my pre war house I saw that you could inspect a dog bowl and you say “I’ll never find that dog” and I was wondering if you could look in to it and see if there is more to that comment.

For the love of god, if you're going to use the visitors center as a settlement, take down/replace/move the junk fences already in place. The place has tonnes of space for farming/housing once properly opened up.
On the downside, I find that the Visitor's Center gets attacked far more frequently than than any of the other settlements in Far Harbour, so you might want to set up some Big Boy defences to fend off the constant Trapper and Super Mutant attacks, as well as the condenser failures.
Oxhorn, outside The Last Plank there is a gentleman, fisherman who is from Leeds. It’s the only character that has that accent. Have any info on this? I’m from just up north in Newcastle from Leeds. Just curious if you know anything about him.
I know his family hails from Yorkshire and presumably moved there before the war. I'm not sure there's any more about him.
Reece Cowell yer I know that from what he says. Just curious more about him. In the entire game he has a unique accent that’s all. Probably nothing but curious

I absolutely loved this place. Built a concrete wall all around it, and turned it into a fortress.

If you go to Acadia by yourself first then return to Far Harbor, Old Longfellow will walk over to and have unique dialogue.

Your videos encouraged me to start playing Fallout New Vegas, 3, 4, and 76.
Well done! My 1st play through Uncle Ken didn't make it, and I didn't have time to put down defenses either. Second time around was much easier with my own traps and gun turrets set up. Surprisingly though, even with those fog condensers, the settlement still gets attacked by gulpers and other wild beasts lol.

You know what of been, cool to add to fo4, a pirate faction to play as , cuz there's plenty of ships, shipyard , and ocean theme stuff ect, and just sail up and down the coast of the Commonwealth and far harbor ,especially far harbor being spooky and foggy all the time and the different places could of been pirate hangouts ect, kings lighthouse would been one to, libertalia Shiping graveyard , spectacle island could of been a good place for a pirate town or city ect AAR MATIE lol
My headcanon is the Fog in Far Harbor is the same as the cloud from the Sierra Madre

Would have been cool if the diving suit allowed for underarmor, and only covered the armor slots. Guess then they'd have to worry about clipping though.

To be honest, the Rescue Diver Suit you get for completing the Far Harbor town side quests is ridiculously lackluster. Its "special effect" is exactly the same as a perk you can get at your first level up and its resistances are mediocre (and easily surpassed). Plain and simple, it's a collectable and nothing more.
All you need to do not to steal, is move the thing you want to take out of its place and it will no longer be set to owned.
Have you ever used mods that add m60's? I did and loved it the mod also came with turrets and had a mg42 mod to go along with it
