I think Tarja and Marko have better chemistry now than they did in NW and I believe they also have a deeper friendship now, at least it seems that way.
I love NW and Tarja's time in it, but I adore her solo career. She just shines brighter than ever before. Tarja got to really do whatever she wants on her own and her love for music really shines through every album she makes and every show I have seen from her. She is not only a great singer but a great song writer as well. And her stage precense is very captivating and energetic. She seems so happy and that feeling spreads to the audience.
You are right, Tarja's voice has matured a lot since her NW days (I mean it's meen almost 20 years). She has darker and deeper edge to it. And that is a big part why I love her solo work so much. It is so vast and she is unpredictable.
When Marko and Tarja postponed their shows, it took a lot of courrage to stand there on the stage and say that aloud to the audience. I respect them hugely for that. You could see how heartbroken they were, especially Tarja. And they just didn't leave it at that. Marko sang one song to the audience and they took photos and talked with the fans there.
This song will keep getting better and better the more you`ll listen. Marko said in an interview: “A love song to my wife which ends up uniting two old friends. Even if the song itself sucked, I would be pleased about the result!”. Made me love the song even more.

It's a wonderful start towards their new musical journey. Beautiful, heartfelt lyrics, nice melody.
I assume their next duet will be on Tarja's album, and it'll probably be a darker song. Whatever they come up with, I'm sure it will be fun at the very least 🖤.
Thanks a lot for the reaction. This song is great. Their voices complement each other perfectly. Marko and Tarja have another tour coming up this year. Marko also promised Tarja that he would make a guest appearance on her song in return, so maybe we'll get another duet from them this year. The two did not rule out or confirm the establishment of a joint project.
Marko said that his new solo album will probably be released early next year.

Zeppelin vibes was the first thing I thought....I mean...my best friend and I used to listen to Led Zeppelin and Steppenwolf back in the early 1970's! I have listened to every Led Zeppelin LP!
I am really enjoying this song...very catchy tune and the lyrics.
I gave the first half of the song a 7, but the last half gave me a lot of goose bumps... So a 9.5 on the second half. So...an overall 8.25. Which is high for me!
Perfect observation from you: They are now in charge of their own careers, no one else is calling the shots (meaning of course Tuomas from Nightwish). I really wish that Nightwish would do a reunion with Marko and Tarja but I fear Tuomas will never have it.
