Fulop joins protest against turnpike expansion

Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop was among those denouncing the proposed $10.7 billion expansion of the New Jersey Turnpike at a protest Tuesday evening. Fulop, a candidate for governor, criticized the state as being inconsistent in allowing the project while suing New York over congestion pricing.

The cars will bottleneck at the tunnel entrances anyway. It's a huge waste of money. Spend the money on expanding public transportation.

Stop air pollution! No turnpike expansion! Drive an EV but sit in traffic!
-Yea, wait. Hold up.
Save the planet! Spend the $10 billion on public transit! Pay an absurd fare to take the train or the bus!
