One would swear she borrowed that soul to perform the song. I'm not sure how many people appreciate the emotional gasps she produces here that absolutely melt me.

The presence she projects during performances is such that, in some ways, I prefer it when the video is obscured, as I would otherwise have difficulty taking my eyes off of Diana to watch the reaction. Not sure when it started but one of the judge was late buzzing in and everyone gave him grief - later he said he was waiting for a break because the buzzer (and the following applause) was distracting from the performance. Also - not being able to roll my tongue has been one of the reoccurring frustrations in my life. My family teases (in fun) but I just can't (not a clue where to even start...lol.) At least they can't whistle (which I can) but I also love the sound of the tongue roll.
It is interesting to hear commentary about rolled R letters. For people that use that in their everyday language it is amusing, since it is a letter sound just like any other...ask any Finn for example : ) It would also seem completely reasonable to believe that a performance like this, in a talent show, would be an extensive team effort, particularly with that elaborate and appealing staging, lighting, etc. Fantastic end result by this highly original young singer...a favorite very much worth exploring. Also I find it counterproductive to make any claims about someone being the greatest singer on earth when there are so many great talents, all bringing something something very special to the table and we can enjoy the whole smorgasbord feast. We can make claims concerning whom we like the best, but should stop there, otherwise it is just hyperbole : )
Queen of goosebumps. Yes. My goosebumps got goosebumps! This young lady is just incredible! A great combination of a pure talent, education and hard work. She is a pure gem, a real discovery. Quite a statement from an old metal/prog guy! BTW, the judges' late buzzers. One of them, Igor Krutoy, better known as Dimash's producer waited with his buzzer till the pause not to disturb her in her performance, the others picked his advice, but at the end they almost forgot to press the button. There is also ten year old Diana singing on a radio station..... a Beetles song Oh Darling. This one will break you, at ten you can hear the lower tones she can achieve. It's an over 300 year old folk song about a Cossack warrior who dreams of his death in an imminent battle. On Diana's face you see sadness, anxiety and pain of the soul of the Cossack warrior. One would swear she borrowed that soul to perform the song.
I'm not sure how many people appreciate the emotional gasps she produces here that absolutely melt me.

The presence she projects during performances is such that, in some ways, I prefer it when the video is obscured, as I would otherwise have difficulty taking my eyes off of Diana to watch the reaction.
If you want to see performances from when she was even younger I would suggest czcams.com/video/pNC9m9dcsi4/video.html in which she performs, at age 13, both "Jodel-Time" (the song for which she was infamously not chosen on Russia's version of The Voice Kids) and the French classic "Non, je ne regrette rien" at a karaoke club in Moscow. If you want to go even younger then there's a well known recording of her giving an impromptu rendition of "Oh! I would, however, suggest exploring her more recent work first. These early performances are very good, but are less stand-outs and more so interesting minutiae in her significant collection of performances and recordings.

Not sure when it started but one of the judge was late buzzing in and everyone gave him grief - later he said he was waiting for a break because the buzzer (and the following applause) was distracting from the performance. Also - not being able to roll my tongue has been one of the reoccurring frustrations in my life. My family teases (in fun) but I just can't (not a clue where to even start...lol.) At least they can't whistle (which I can) but I also love the sound of the tongue roll.

It is interesting to hear commentary about rolled R letters. For people that use that in their everyday language it is amusing, since it is a letter sound just like any other...ask any Finn for example : )
It would also seem completely reasonable to believe that a performance like this, in a talent show, would be an extensive team effort, particularly with that elaborate and appealing staging, lighting, etc. Fantastic end result by this highly original young singer...a favorite very much worth exploring. Also I find it counterproductive to make any claims about someone being the greatest singer on earth when there are so many great talents, all bringing something something very special to the table and we can enjoy the whole smorgasbord feast. We can make claims concerning whom we like the best, but should stop there, otherwise it is just hyperbole : )

Where it is sung in a whisper is like the words of a deceased mother, because in Russia since ancient times it was believed that the river is the border between the world of the living and the dead, as in the mythology of others countries. So the girl-orphan came to the river to tell the mother that she was being given away for the unloved, to a strange family, ask for blessings and cry.

This international TV competition is unique in the world and was specially developed for adopted and orphaned children. It is designed not only to give positive emotions to children who do not have a prosperous childhood, but also to hope for changes in their destiny.
Diana entered the competition 'You are Super!' in 2018 and 2019 and won twice. The winner of the season will be determined by a 6-day public vote and the final took place in the Kremlin Palace and her videos were uploaded to CZcams and soon she had millions of fans.
